[Release] Cock Hero - Binary State (reworked)

To me, Pseudonym is still the goat of CH creators. Thats why I have remixed their latest (but not so recent) work:
Cock Hero: Binary State

Specs:
Res: 1080p
FPS: 30
Bitrate: ~6.5kbps
Encoding: hevc
Size: 3.11GB.

Links:
MEGA:
https://mega.nz/file/VpgnGITI#yOWiGGfEj ... iymkFSITFQ

Streaming:
(I would have previously used SpankBang but thats not an option anymore. If anyone can recommend an alternative, I will upload there)

Help Appreciated:
Now I have questions for the CH creators out there as I want to start creating my own. I have got the material, the music and theme that I want to go with:
  • What video editing software do you use? I have been using shotcut so far because its free and open source but I have been finding it a bit limiting especially in terms of audio stuff.
  • What codec, bitrate, bitrate control type and other setttings do use to balance quality and size? This remix is around the same size and bitrate as Pseudonym's but the quality is noticably worse. Is it because of hevc encoding? or the fact that I use shotcut? (apologies I don't much about this kind of stuff)
  • And finally, has anyone dabbled in AI upscaling or at least seen content using it? What software are other creators using/having success with? I have been experimenting with Topaz (free version) and the settings and choices are overwhelming
(Note: I have uploaded a revised version of my old edit: Cock Hero: Ultimate Audition. It has a couple of very minor changes and the file size is significantly smaller. You can find it in the original post: viewtopic.php?p=297191)

I personally use Vegas Pro. I like the UI and how intuitive it is. Most of the time at least.
Others might prefer DaVinci Resolve, Premiere... I don't think you can go wrong with any professional software.

HEVC gives better results than AVC at the same bitrate so that shouldn't be the issue. Aside from using the highest quality render profile and two pass render, I don't really do anything extra.
Looking at the new clips you've added, some look great in terms of quality imo, but some look like it's a poor quality source, not a bad render. Could that be it?

Anyways, good luck with your new original project!

Thanks for the answers 🫡

I will have a look at this dual pass setting but can't seem to find it. Maybe its not in shotcut.
Spoiler: show
Theses are what the video settings look like in shotcut. The second one especially confuses me:

I am aware that the source quality of my clips vary quite a bit but I was more so talking about the clips that I didn't change. The Binary State rounds that I didn't modify looks worse the original or maybe thats just me.

One single worst thing for quality/size ratio is using hardware encoder (nvidia/amd).
You can just use some insanely good settings/large file from your video editor and then redo the encoding for releasing to internet in handbrake. I have done this for several creators, this setting works pretty well to produce good quality with decent size

Hmm. I wasn't aware of such tool, definitely looks useful. I will give it a shot.
Thanks

I will put in spoilers just in case anyone wants to find out for themselves.
Spoiler: show
3 rounds have been visually majorly overhauled (complete replacement of all scenes). Of those, 2 have had beat structure changes.
3 rounds have had minor visual changes (some scenes within the rounds being replaced).
2 rounds has stayed the same as original.

Nice remix! I'm having trouble deciding if I prefer the original or your version. Good work!

Downloading it now, is it just visual changes? Specifically, is the timing of everything the same? I'm wondering if existing funscripts will work with the start/stop sequences.

Thanks, this took me some time to make actually. Good to hear it was time spent well.

Two rounds specifically have had their beats altered. Never used a funscript before so I don't know what that would imply to the ones created for the original
