Invite codes regenerating end of 1970

I did use my invite codes throughout the years (14 total invites until now) and I am pretty sure I didn't give them just out to obvious bots. I was always under the impression the codes do regenerate freely since I have always ever seen 4 listed codes. Never more, never less.
Since I created a secondary reddit-account, primarly to browse incognito without needing the app, I did give out codes in the Milovana-subreddit thread for exactly that purpose. And currently I have two invites left and get displayed the message

Is the displayed number a bug of sorts or will I actually not get any more new invites?You will get your next invite on 1970-01-31. Note: You can never have more than 4 active invites. Use 'em or lose 'em!
