Maybe i can shed some light with my personal experience. I looked into your first teases when they came out as i do with most. Its already some time ago and i easily forget things. What i remember is that i didnt understand them. In fact i considered them completely unfit for me and ignored the regular releases from then on. I didnt vote for the previous ones or talked about them. One persons trash is another persons treasure.

With the Labyrinth came the first tease of that sort i played seriously. And to say it right from the beginning, in my eyes its the best one of your teases too, as i finally could see value in it. However i wouldnt be surprised if a lot of people failed to manifest Succubi, and what remains then is far less magical. The dialogues sure sometimes were boring but they served their purpose of reminding the importance of the journey. For me though the end came way too early.

Those weak Succubi thought they could cage me for a year. They underestimated the still lingering power of my mind which broke free of its shackles instantly. Maybe the Labyrinth attracted an audience it couldnt handle.

If you like your work, why's that not enough? Also, who cares, whether it is a typical tease or not?

I think the labyrinth title got many people excited. Labyrinths are quite popular. And then they are disapointed with getting something quite different.

I was looking for your tease (after reading this post). I've not had time recently so was kind of putting it off since it sounds quite long. Couldn't find it in teases so I guess that is what you mean by removing it? Really I'd prefer it if I could find it in the teases if that's what you've done and i've not just missed it. I have opened it now from the link above. I guess it does add some mystery if you have to know about it and search for it
It did also occur to me that the low initial rating is common with long teases since everyone who rates it at the beginning will not have played it through i.e. only the people who don't like it will vote at the beginning.
Thank you for the vast amount of time you have put into the teases (and all other authors). I doubt I'll ever write one myself because I can imagine how long it would take.
