Just being wondering if any of you noticed lack of new softcore videos lately.

Duro/Suave from Onniks, Passion/Freedom from RedLighter, SoftCore Collaboration or any other individual releases from fragrantEmulsion and other authors...is in history now Quality of those videos was top-notch, I thank each creator once more, but now we're not having new stuff like that

Sure thing, each of us have private life and other hobbies, but is there any chances for new updates of the above mentioned projects/new releases just like in good old times, eh?

I know it sounds like an excuse, but finding good quality videos seems harder each year it passes. In softcore genre, most of the content is already used in other productions. There are still good videos out there, of course, but most CH end up being a remix of PlayboyPlus/Swimsuit/StasyQ girls that feels kinda the same.

The last Softcore Collab wasn't that long ago anyways. Maybe we need more creators here...

You're not wrong Rinascere (btw I would just like to compliment your videos, they are incredible, I was only playing EroClip this morning and wonder at what an awesome job you did)

I always end up falling back to the mentioned content, mainly due to quality. I have a very high standard for the content I want to put into the video (I know other creators have the same ideals) but it is ever more difficult creating original content without re-hashing previous used footage.

I know now on many occasions I have used the same videos as other creators because it just fitted with the video I wanted to make.

I can't comment on other creators but I have a full time job and other commitments, it is hard to find the time to edit. I'll be honest some productions can take hundreds of hours to create.

I urge all those who are interested in video editing or creating sometime to just give it a try, and If you like a specific creators work, then don't be afraid to ask them for some help/ input!

When I made Descent I was finishing my degree and had a lot more free time. I have a career now, and I don't really get the same enjoyment out of porn that I used to. I also feel like Descent 2 did not have the same passion put into it as the first one, and by the end of making it I was really burnt out on video editing.

As others have pointed out, the landscape for these videos is literally changing... to portrait. It's somewhat hard to come up with new ideas using fresh footage. This being said, I have some ideas I would like to try out, but again I don't really have the time or drive to commit to making them a reality. (The recent softcore-sourcing thread has got me bulk-downloading content )

Furthermore I don't think a video format is the future of this genre, I think that the future lies in some sort of game or software tease. That is something I have thought about making and the only thing stopping me is that I have a "real" non-porn game in the incubator right now that is saturating my free time.

Lastly, if you want something done right, do it yourself. I felt like I could make a good video for years before trying it.

Also this, even on EMP it's hard to find good softcore, and all of the known sources have been heavily used by other creators.

I think the the Eroclip style, before the last part that goes in the hardcore section, it's something fantastic, a mix of striptease, photoshoots, tiktok videos, real music video, the choice of the sound. It's true that all the softcore resources are being used, but the way in which you can mix them, that will make unique your creation; I don't care if I will see that footage or video of Lana Rhoades again and again, the music, the moment of the video in wich that footage will appear, that will make the difference for me. Sexy music videos from artists like Mabel, Jennifer Lopez, Dua Lipa will help too, but I can quote a lot of other artists, you can do it if you think a little bit on all this and I am so proud of all you content creatos.

Then what happen is that a lot of creators rely on content that pertain to mostly 2010 to 2019. Before that the quality is low, then Covid hits and a big low low. This specific material is getting milked a lot. So nothing very new to put on the screen.

Also I think culture is changing, feels like 30 years ago porn was a playboy magazine, now porn is BDSM and a women glazed in piss and spit. So as you can feel it, this is not my thing at all, the softcore content is getting tinner and tinner. Seems like productions are mostly about hardcore, and some model have jump the rope quite fast from softcore to hardcore because more demands and more money.

I hope that we will get new softcore models that are astoundingly beautiful and charming, but things are not looking fantastic right now. No new interresting content/model mostly equal less softcore productions.

I’ve enjoyed all the videos you’re mentioning, but yeah, I too noticed that the same content is being milked again and again, and I didn’t know it was because there is less and less softcore content. Sometimes, on PH and simmilars, you find videos of girls kissing and such, which is what most turns me on, but yeah, most of the content is rude and extremely explicit. Digging into goon and hypno content is even worse, this creators apparently only know extreme content.

I can relate. When I started to see porn, magazines and commercial videos were the thing. Since then, the “stimulus” bar has been slowly rising, but I never liked very hardcore scenes. Instead, it has been rising in the form of better and better resolution, so I honestly greatly enjoyed the first 1080p videos I saw. I guess I reached “the peak” few years ago.

However, maybe you’re right, and people wants weirder and harder stuff, either because they became desensitized to more vanilla content, or because they grew up consuming such content.

Either way, I have to admit that this pause in softcore content comes in handy for me, as I am experiencing low libido lately, and I should take a longer break from porn. Not that I overdo it, maybe once a week, but definitely something is going wrong with my sex drive. Maybe once we reach a peak of gratification, there’s the downhill, or maybe it is a mental health related issue, I don’t know.

fragrantEmulsion is absolutely right, I can relate to everything he said here. Passion 3 took me almost a year of gathering material that would still turn me on. For me it was fresh, because I was using a lot of amateur clips from OnlyFans and Manyvids, something I hadn't been doing before. After Passion 3 release ( ) I considered a new video, but after 2 or 3 months I found myself checking empornium every day for some chicks with beautiful body not filming themselves vertically (rip landscape [*]). I decided that this is not the right habit, wasn't turning me on anymore so I decided to stop for now.

I wouldn't say that everything that softcore porn was capable of has been exploited, but I understand the point. I think that the general path towards CHs/RLGL with edging and mild femdom (creatordom? ) was the best time in softcore CH history in terms of the implenentation of new ideas (or at least the reinvention of these); the other great approach was CH colaborations, where at least we could see great rounds, especially from new creators, who weren't hooked on StasyQ, PlayboyPlus and other mainstream softcore pornsites.

Lastly, from creator's point of view, I don't regret spending time with RLGLs and CHs, it was a great experience and I enjoyed the process a lot, however after you burn out you are left with your habits, like gathering materials, but you don't feel like you're moving forward - another tit drop round would be nice, but it's just another tit drop round. From player's point of view on the other hand, I believe that "unedited" softcore clips with music, like playboyplus and StasyQ are still very much viable and one can spend an amazing time just making a playlist with them. I enjoy fetish and softcore equally. In particular, Softcore Collab 3 has permanently nested itself in some deep layer of my brain, especially the DigitalParkingLot middle section with the rapid 1 second cuts. The overall collaboration somehow hits the sweet spot of the great content and just the right frequencies. The amount of work contributed to it is truly impressive.
