hello,
I have read the posts on the scripting for sound
My problem
I don't know how to get the sounds
onto my computer in the first place
to tell the Flashtease what sound I want
in other words
I don't have the sounds yet, How do I get them?
I was looking at Metronome idea
I can play it from the various web sites, but how do I record it?
(so that I can then put it in a tease)

all2true what i suggest is that you download Real player and then it will tell you that you can download movies or mp3's during the installation process. all you have to do is just follow the instructions to put the sound into a file maybe on your desktop. I myself would like to make a flash tease but i just dont know how.

If you want to generate some metronome-like sounds for your flash teases, here's what I'd suggest:
1. Download Audacity onto your PC - it's a free sound-editing tool. It has a really good feature for making what it calls "click tracks"
2. Run the Audacity program. From the menu along the top, pick Generate-Click Track
3. It'll pop up a dialog box in which you can enter the tempo (in beats per minute), the number of beats per measure, and the number of beats. For example, if you enter tempo=60, beats per measure=4, measures=2, you'll get a sound file that sounds like "CLICK-click-click-click-CLICK-click-click-click" with one click per second.
4. Play the track to make sure it's what you wanted (just click on the Play button)
5. Click File-Export at mp3, choose a file name, and you'll have a nice little metronome-like mp3 file saved on your computer!
It's a nice little program that has some other good sound-editing features as well. I originally got it to crop music and make ring tones, and was surprised to find that it has tease-related capabilities, too.
If you want to get fancier sounds, you could try using a different free tool called MidiDrum. I've just discovered that one and am playing around with a way to make some teasing sounds in it.
Anyway, good luck with it, and let me know if you need additional help or have questions.
