Can you remember the name of the author, whether it was Flash, EOS, or Plain, had any specific text in it, or roughly when it was made? 1885's Sibling Rivalry series is one of my favourite series (which thankfully does still exist), but like you, I can't find any other tease with the same or similar name. It should be either a flashtease or an eos.
The main idea was along the lines of your mother (or step-mother) could only afford supporting one of you and she made you compete with you step-sister
