Alright so my opinion may not mean much, but I just had this thought the other day.. So long as it isn't already a thing, why don't we start a poll, either soon or in the new year. and make it a yearly thing for everyone to vote, have maybe a top 10 or 5 selected. I know it isn't easy to single out all these great creations. but maybe just make a poll for the years releases, have people vote and obvoiusly the 5 with most votes would be the top 5, and then have another vote done based on those 5 ?
Not sure if that's the best way of doing it but I thought it would be a great idea to show appreciation for the creators.
Of course I can imagine it would suck to be near the bottom of said list, however we all know everyone has there own tastes preferences so it shouldn't be taken personally

Side note, I have only gotten a couple rounds in.. But am in the long awaited process of creating my own first CH project. and I feel it may be something special :D probably won't be done for a few months, as the next couple weeks of the holidays I won't have as much time as I have this past month. But when I get closer to being done I will try to put together a lil trailer!

I think this is a good idea. Might be best to have some categories or a rating system or something because most people watch videos based on preferred kinks.

100% agree with both of you. if anyone would either like to take charge, or collaborate with me on this idea, I have never done a poll before but couldn't be that hard, my main concern would be not missing any valid submissions for the poll as I have not been able to watch every single release.

Calling DPL, Book Guy, AndyP Redlighter,... any other creators and any one else who may have the knowledge, I know you , guilherme have been keeping up with most of the releases.

This is a great idea, looking forward to seeing the finalists and seeing who wins each category

Polls are really easy to create. When you start a new thread, down below the text box, you just choose to create a poll...really simple...I just recently learned this myself.

Hey folks, Iridescence is a new rising star in this community. His round in CHSC4 blew me away. I can't believe this is his first ever attempt at editing. He is more polished and doing more complex things then most seasoned veterans on this forum are doing. He has a real talent for creating CH videos.

If anyone can help me compile a list for this poll, and suggestions for categories, i.e.. softcore/hardcore/ not sure what to call it but number1fan seems to have a lane of his own that is worthy even if some are not considered CH's ... but ya not really sure what other categories to list.

There's already a release announcement thread that was started some time this year, so that could be the basis of the poll.

As far as categories go, I think it was Book_Guy who started segregating entries within his Mega Sharing Zone.
We could use that.
I'd like to see an overall category as well, since there are some that are almost universal in their appeal.

Some categories I think I remember:
Traditional (several progressive rounds with a beat meter leading to a climax round)
No beat meter
Red Light Green Light
Edge Challenge

Then there's the combo videos that have all of the bells and whistles... DPL's first video CH Blue Angel is a great example...
Not sure how to classify those.

It would also be cool to have a beginners category for first timers.

I don't know how it fits, but since it has become one of the biggest reasons I scour these forums every day, I'd like to suggest a category somehow related to estim.

Thank you for this, I do like the occasional edge challenge but mainly stick to traditional- softcore and hard. So i wasn't sure how to categorize the others but these are a good start. I wonder if I should make a new thread "calling all creators (who put out work this year)"
And ask for them to list what they'd want submitted and what they might categorize it as to avoid any hurt feelings ? I don't want to miscategorize anyone's work since I have not been able to view them all. I have a handful of faves from the year however and this thought popped into my head. Thought it would be a great way to showcase all the great & different projects being put out.
Totally agree with the 'overall' category and beginners as well.

And as for this suggestion as I am not am e stim enthusiast, although numberonefan makes great enough creations that I've played them without e stim...
