Names for Tease Characters

Hey all.
I've got into the habit of naming the characters in my teases the same name as the models.
I find it makes it easier to keep track of names, pages, code, etc.
In the tease I'm writing now though, there will be some characters portrayed by more than one model.
I'm not sure if I should name the character after one of the models, or give everyone new names.
What's your rationale for naming characters? How do you come up with good names?

I am just working on my own tease now so I will be having this issue too. My plan is to name it after the model if I know it or if I don't then just make a name up.
I take it in your case you are having just one character but do not have enough images of the same model. If you are having to pick different models to represent one character I would make sure to keep with just one name. This way people can see the name and not think a new character has been introduced even though the image is of a different model.
Maybe try and keep the same hair colour or body style so it isn't as jarring.
Hope this helps

Good points. For this situation it's that there are two versions of the character with alternate models.
If I didn't have enough images, they would just have a smaller role in the tease, if at all. I'm not going to "re-cast" partway through haha!
I'll probably make up a name, maybe one that sounds similar to one of the models.
Thanks for the response!

Definately worth using the models real name - if somebody likes them, makes it much easier for them to find and support their content.
Only reason I haven't done so if the name had a specific meaning for the story.
