Dual Wield estim should probably be done from the beatmeter files. Here are those files for Astronomia:

The 7z file contains:

• CH DW Astronomia.beat - The Beatmeter Generator 0.3 (BMG) file with all beat and bpm tracks
• music.wav - The music audio track
• smooth sine bass.wav - The beat audio sample
• bpm progress.wav - A BMG export of the BPM & 4/4 signature tracks, which I use to align everything while sequencing in Resolve

The BMG files don't include the tutorial intro. I can make this part easier in future releases, but for now the solution is to add your own silence.



The amount of silence needed to align with the released video should be about 00:5:16.6 (0 hours, 5 minutes, 16.6 seconds), +/- some fraction gained or lost to encodings.

Through BMG, the estim author can arrange matching estim pulses on new tracks, using their own beat audio sample. They won't be able to do the "hold" audio in BMG, which is why my files only mark the start and stop of holds. They'll have to take BMG exports into Audacity (or something) to add constant pressure tracks, because the beat samples in BMG must never be allowed to overlap. BMG's audio mixer doesn't adjust the inputs while mixing the output like Audacity, Resolve, Vegas, etc. If the beat audio sample overlaps, like it will always do if you assign a long beat sample file to a rapid beat sequence, the export will peak in those spots where the end of one beat overlaps the start of the next beat. The result will be trash, and would be dangerous if passed through estim.

You can hear in BMG when an audio mix is going to be very bad. You can find in Audacity waveform view when a mix was bad but not bad enough to hear. That second part will be equally important for estim, because the waveform shape matters more for electrode signals than it does for headphones.

Last year I gave the beat tracks for the first 5 CH DW releases, and spoke about it in the eStim thread and in PM. It didn't get much attention so I didn't change my process for later releases, except that I did improve my beatmeter generator templates.

Higher average difficulty. The multi-meter thing just doesn't make sense to some (the most common complaint when the early releases were on PornHub.) That has gotten better in the later releases, but adding instructions also adds things to be aware of while jerking off.

It may be cheating that I make and play it sober.
