[Timelapse] Making of a CH round

Epilepsy warning! (Just to be sure)
Hey, so I've got an idea the other day.
Why not capture the editing process of making a CH round and create a timelapse out of it?
So I did that today...
Since it was my first time using OBS, I fucked up some bitrate settings and realized too late.
So roughly first 20s of the timelapse has some artifacts. I guess we all learn every day.
I don't exactly know why I made this to be honest.
Maybe some of you will find it interesting:

P.S. I wish I could work this fast...

This is actually pretty neat to see and very informative for someone who has no video editing experience. I have a newfound admiration for all the fantastic content creators here on Milovana!

I really want to create some CH vids but I cant figure out how to time the music with the beat strokes.
Can you make a tutorial.
I am to the point that I am willing to pay you to make one.. lol...

Yeah, I remember before starting making CHs myself I thought:
"I just pick a song, add beats and slap a video over it and I'm done! It can't take more than 3 days to make a CH video!"
Well, you learn pretty quickly that things are little bit more tricky if you want to create something that has more than 3 cuts in it and actually feels good to watch.
Btw, the video I was making took about 7 hours. Before that maybe 3 hours of finding a good music and gathering content. So that's about 10 hours for a rough edit.
I estimate that it will take another 10 hours to do some fixing, iterations and polishing. Then the round will be actually finished and ready.
Also what I'm doing in this video is pretty simple, compared to what some other CH or PMV authors are sometimes doing in terms of cuts end effects. So yes, I have admiration to these people too since I have no idea how they are able to do some of the things that they do.

There are some tutorials here:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=7615&hilit=beats
But from a quick look on that thread some short video explaining the process could be useful?
I might try to create a one. What exactly would you like to see in such tutorial? Just adding beats to the song inside your video editor and syncing them?

I have experience making music videos and such. But I need assistance on beatmeters and how to sync the music with the meter. Also what software you use to make the beat meter. I use after effects all the time FYI

You have basically two options.
1) Either you use Beatmeter Generator:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=21725&hilit=beat+meter+generator
(I have no experience with this tool)
2) Or you can create the beats in your video editor program and then make a visual beat meter out of them using AE.
If you choose the second option, you will need to find out bpm of your song (just google some free bpm analyzer tool). Then you can create your beat patterns (I use good old HammerHead)
Then you just align your beat patterns with the song in your video editing software and extend them as needed.
Once you finish your round you will use AE to create the visual beat meter. Search around on this forum and you will find tutorial or maybe even AE project for that.
Hopefully this helps.

As someone who uses Beatmeter Generator for all of mine, once you've got it figured out, it's really simple to create a beat track that's bang on the beats. It's very configurable, so you can put in your own graphics and beat sound and such, tough most people use the defaults. I'm probably going to find a different beat sound for my next one, though.
Anyway, with Beatmeter Generator, I can generally create beat track for a 35-45 minute CH in an afternoon or two.

Wow, this looks awesome... it clearly shows that those PMV / CH videos are not generated by bots...
What's the final video you are working on? Is this a solo project or collaboration?
This will help highlight how difficult it is to make those videos and definitely make people donate (if the creator wants donation and so on and has a Crypto/Paypal account setup, of course).

Not yet.
And yes it was a lot of fun to edit this round.

So this round will be part of my new project:
Cock Hero - Replay
Here is a thread about it:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=23453&hilit=replay
So far it's in closed alpha stage of developement and it runs on CYOA platform (developed by fagustree) which allows for lot of cool stuf like randomization of beat patterns, rounds and much more. The main goal of the project is replayability.
Here is little bit of info about the platform:
https://cyoa.club/help/docs/docs.html
So far I'm trying to keep the game realtively low profile so when it is finally released publically, it will be an exciting event!
Hopefully people will like it and it will inspire some other authors to try fagustree's CYOA platform since there is a lot of peotential in it imo.

Yeah, this might be a little controversial, but I believe there is no reason why any CH author shouldn't have a Patreon or other way of recieving donations. Ofcourse as long as they are comfortable with it and know the potential risks.
Again, that is something I would like to inspire others to try.

Amazing pornstar selection and amazing editing! Can't wait to play it! Eva Elvia has not gotten enough love on Milovana and I'm glad you're giving her the attention she deserves :)

I just saw the timelaps, pseudonym. It's impressive how you start off with so many tracks.

A way for this video to be useful to see the work progression would be if the timeline zoom at the bottom would be fixed to the project final size, then see the white cursor fly through it as tracks are being populated. But Vegas being Vegas, the editing software would be totally unusable.
But thanks for sharing. It's cool to watch Eva Elfie on fast-forward-backward-forward while listening to the music.
