Stereo e-stim frequencies

I was looking experimenting with e-stim in Eos and OpenEOS, seeing what could be done to make an API of sorts, but don't have an e-stim device to test with.
Curious what frequencies y'all are using, for pain, pleasure, etc. All sine wave? some square?

while there are some user overlaps, you'll likely find a lot more depth to such a discussion at socialstim.org
The stim-specific forum sites tend to be willing to wade into the technical aspects, you might get some response here but you'll get more over there.

Thanks. However, it's nothing I'm going to go out of my way to find. If people here want to share, great! But otherwise, I likely won't bother putting any time into it. Minimal contribution here would inevitably mean minimal use of the resulting API by any Eos tease authors.

There isn't an easy answer to this. In general frequencies between 500 and 1500 hz are used, and sine waves generally feel better, square waves more uncomfortable. However, there is massive variation in how frequencies work together, the effects of amplitude (volume), electrode placement.... There are some gems of human beings who are putting effort into trying to wade through the variables to make predictable stim signals but for the moment the best answer that I can give is that it's complicated.
