Alright, I have a stupid question or two. I've been unable to find this clearly stated anywhere, although I may have missed it somewhere.

I think I know the correct answer to at least one of 'em; I'm just looking for some clarification.

I've been considering putting some teases together. I haven't because I, like a lot of others, have a desire to avoid the whole "copyright issue". Yep, I'm a big chicken. Bwok, bwok, bwok...

The way I understand things is as follows:

1. Let's say that I have a collection of images from a website. All of the images have a text ad for the website stating their_name_here.com (fictional example) in the corner. Images such as this would be alright to use as-is, since they give the photo's owner credit, right? I don't need to e-mail any webmasters, get permission to re-use any such images for a not-for-profit purpose or anything, right?

2. Also, any images which are known to be copyrighted, such as a magazine centerfold, are to be avoided...correct?

3. I know where, on the forums, to find guides for building a tease. If there are any other handy photo reference threads, that an aspiring tease-writer should bookmark, could anyone point some of them out to me?

That ought to cover it. I appreciate any help kicking me in the right direction. Just don't kick me in the nads, they're sore enough already.

1. Yes, those are OK to use.
2. Yes. If you know they are copyright then don't use them.
3. This is the only thread specifically dedicated to collecting photo links in one place. Other links pop up all over the place, but not collectively like this thread.

if you are looking for pictures of "Piper Fawn" for instance:
- use google to search for "piper fawn freeones"
- in this case the first link will be http://www.freeones.com/html/p_links/Piper_Fawn/

but the best source is still http://www.sologals.com.

And I don't know anything about copyright issues.

Try preceding your search in google with site:freeones.com, for example "site:freeones.com Piper Fawn". Click this link to see the results it gets, it should be better than the way you've been doing it:

I don't look at this sort of stuff outside when I come to milovana, so having finally felt like making a tease, I am stuck for pictures despite a couple hours browsing around these sites.
