From my experience, cock rings can reduce the sensitivity of the cock, depending on their tightness. Safety tip to those who don't know, rings prevent the balls from recoiling to hits so they may not be able to take the same force without damaging them. Go slow and build up, or don't have kids... It's your body.

If it is delaying of orgasm you are looking for I recommend a lot of practice. Also, to get back control or back away from the edge scratching my cock head with something works very well. Can be just my finger nail, some hard object or a brush. Does not need to be painful or anything. It just helps to focus the feelings in the cock head again and allows me to control my orgasm. Just a little touch is usually enough. You just have to practice a lot to know when you have to do something like that to keep you away from orgasm just in time. There seems to be a lot of misunderstandings about cock rings.
