Football decides

Hi All,
Given how busy the footballing calendar this time, I thought there could be a game based on football results. The idea is to pick a team and cheer them :D
We can improve the rules, for now I propose the following:
1) you cannot cum if your team has lost or draw its last match
2) you can cum as many times as many goals your team scored
if it won the last match
3) you cannot cum on match day before the KO or during the match
4) you need to do as many edges each day as your team conceded until the next KO (regardless if you can cum or not)
You can pick any team you want, it's up to you but one team can be picked only once. I propose to do a test phase in January. Let me know if you have any ideas to add to the rules and I can update until 31 December.
I'll go with Manchester United!

I'd be into this! I'm following two teams in the Premier League who are in a down path right now, Chelsea and Tottenham. I'll amend the rules to say I can't cum unless both teams win their respective games. I'm into long denials so should be fun! Edges relating to goals conceded I'll sum the goals both concede.

As a Spurs supporter, I "hate" you for this.
Also, FUCK CHEL$KI.

I know very little about pro football teams but this sounds like fun so I'm in. I used a d20 roll and came up with Tottenham but am open to switching if that's someone's favorite.

It's a crazy coincidence that we have three Spurs followers in this thread, considering they aren't even as big as the other clubs lol.

Haha reasonable, but I'm not a local and got interested in both clubs from the outside

Especially since the Arsenal fan base are known as "Gooners". There's a lot more Spurs supporters since the Amazon documentary. I'm happy for the behind-the-scenes look, but damn, they did my boy Danny dirty. He deserved better.
If you're into club histories at all, the neo-nazi ties and skinheads involvement with Chelsea is a good historical read. Similarly, looking into the criminal enterprise ownership of that club is worthwhile.
Not saying Joe Lewis is scott-free - he's a tax dodger and made his fortune shorting real estate in the major UK crashes. But when you have Russian oligarch mobsters, oil-wealth and human rights abusing regimes owning major clubs...learning just how much "sportswashing" goes on in these leagues is staggering.
In other subjects...the league should take a 2 week circuit-breaker pause. Despite all the protocols (most tested sports league in the world right now), there are still outbreaks going on.

Yeah after being on this site I always chuckle inwardly at that Arsenal nickname now haha. Agree with Rose, but the dude has some attitude problems and he isn't really happy at Spurs so its time for him to move.
I'm aware of Chelsea's old reputation, and actually they were my first club, I've been following them for a long time (since I was a kid, but I didn't care about ownership or the board or anything other than players and the manager(s) then). I think in general it's too hard to find a good clean owner among top teams, unless you go for some club like Bayern or something. I love the way Spurs are run and I love Daniel Levy, even though Lewis is very shady.

Great to see two of you joined me ;) Others feel free to join at any time!
United starts the year agains Aston Villa, which will be a tough game. United can go on level with Liverpool on the top so there is extra pressure. I'm hoping for a good result, it would be great to see MU so close to the top once again :)
Tottenham will play Leeds tomorrow, I see a lot of goals there :D Chelsea whereas will host Man City only on Sunday evening. That's not an easy game either.

I've never paid closer attention to the score in any sport! It's already been 10 days so I really needed that win! At 3-0 it was almost as much a blowout as what I'm going to enjoy later today.
