I mean, about as surprising as water being wet. The idea is nice, but just like chastity cages have 2 keys (one to be kept for emergencies), the reality is that a cage like this NEEDS a local override that cannot be locked remotely. Sure, report the override use to the "owner", but have it.
As for being the first... well, the first iteration of anything tends not to be the best. I'd say wait with stuff like this until it will be reasonably common on the market.

It's also in the top 10 most read articles on BBC News, so if the general populace didn't know what a male chastity device was before, they do now

I'm currently locked in their latest device, the Cellmate 3, aka the CagInk Pro.
This device has a screen showing how much longer your locked time is, how long until you receive a scheduled electric shock, and whether you are using Bluetooth or cellular network for communication with the device.
It is a pretty neat device and today I was roused from my slumber by a scheduled shock to my cock, which, when dreaming, certainly makes for an interesting experience.
