I don't know the iMovie features, but Apple's big sibling Final Cut can do this. Another alternative is to use Open Source software on your Mac. I don't know which ones are available, you'd have to google this, but I know that Blender can do this as well. However, it has a heck of a learning curve (I'd recomend starting with its VSE component, Visual Sequence Editor). Another alternative is to install Windows in a virtual machine, and then you can install other kind of free-to-use or Open Source software. Good Luck!

Creation is a slow process, and it forces you to do with the cards you've been dealt with. Feel free to share other tools you are using, or willing to use in the future and I'm sure people will provide suggestions for you.

I just got my hands on a post-pandemic Mac (post being a relative word) so I may refresh my current programs/games offering as well, but I'm also curious to see the new-to-me iMovie and Garage Band (on the iPad, not much possible with only fingers, so frustrating ).
