I doubt most of you are going to care, but I've gotten a couple of requests for the soundtracks for my CH vids without the CH bit from people who enjoyed the mixes. So, I've uploaded them to Soundcloud and just figured I'd share the link here in case anyone wants them, though I'm guessing most prefer the music with the porn attached. :)

Excellent Idea! What up regarding remixes and copyright? Do you know? What's allowed and what's not to be considered plagiarism? I often find lengthy remixes (sometimes more than an hour) on Soundcloud and I wonder if the creators are allowed. Or is it just like videos?

Soundcloud is an excellent source for Cock Hero audio.
For those in the know, please provide reading material references regarding the issues. I'm interested!

It's iffy at best, and just like with the streaming sites, I'll be totally unsurprised if my mixes get taken down via DMCA. I've had vids taken down at both PornHub and Spankbang as well.
Legally it's a gray zone, depending on how far you're willing to stretch the definition of derivative work. But unless you're willing to drag in legal representation to fight it, any of the sites are going to adhere to DMCA takedown notices, so it doesn't much matter. If someone complains or someone's software detects the music or video (more likely), the it's gone again.
As an author, I've had to deal with this through Amazon, for example, even with my own work. I've had to prove prior art several times on my own books, and an author friend had his book release ruined because someone filed a fake DMCA takedown on his book in an attempt to blackmail him. They offered to drop the takedown if he paid them something like $3-4000. With the big companies, you always lose.
So I put these up, knowing that they might be taken down again, but I don't expect anything worse than that.

The grey area is a trade off between DMCA verses free advertising. So like some artists are very anti internet / share ware / fan based parody ect. Other artists see it no different than airtime the radio and if nothing else it gives them free advertising. So flat out converting individual songs to digital and sharing them will get you into trouble. Using it in what can be termed fan based parody falls into that grey area. So for example with picture galleries used in teases, cropping out the logos makes the picture look nice, but you just cut darker into that grey area. If the picture set was used in an advertising campaign, keeping the logo intact instead falls under the Fair Use Act. For music, just look around on YouTube and the like. If they are hard to find and constantly showing up as deleted videos, you hit a landmine. If everyone and there brother is sharing some other artists, odds are it is going to be OK.
