Hello!

After enjoying amazing CH videos from this community I've decided I'll give it a try (thus the name Test Drive) and make my own. Oh boy, I would have never thought that creating one can be so complex and time consuming. Special thanks goes to kerkersklave and his amazing Beatmeter Generator, without which this video would never be created. Any feedback will be highly appreciated (for possible future videos). Enjoy.

I took a look at your Cock Hero and I really enjoyed your choice of content! The beatmeter tended to drift in and out of sync with the music quite frequently, however. Your CH would be improved significantly with a better sync. Despite that, I felt that this was still a very good first CH.

Also, that is an exceptionally small file size and the quality is still quite good. Well done! A CRF of 23 doesn't look half bad here.

My opinions, I wanna try making ratings :D

Audiovisual job as a whole : 10/10
Vibes&feelz&stroke plan/directing : 9/10
Execution of stroke plan / sync with music : 6/10 (still playable if intensions are good, but close to ruining it)
-> I think if you make a friend who a rhythm enthusiast execute beat placing according to your plan, it's gonna be master class stuff

I had a lot of fun playing it, I think I found thought and cleverness behind the beautiful audiovisual work but stroke beats only hitting on point by luck is dangerously close to ruining the otherwise amazing piece of work!

About my personal performance & difficulty:

My thoughts:

I think the editing was good, and you chose some pretty girls. I have a soft spot for Adria Rae, especially. :) To me the music was a bit plain, but that's mostly a preference. However, more varied music might give you more to work with beat-wise.

The beats themselves were very easy, I thought. There were more pauses than beats, it felt like. Mind that I make pretty hectic CH vids, so this is also probably mostly a preference thing. I would rank those beats as beginner difficulty, and I completed without finishing.

I will agree with some of the other posters that there are some beats synchronization issues. It feels like maybe you didn't get the BPM bar to quite the right rate sometimes, or possibly didn't get the beats to snap to it? There are hot keys for snapping to half, third and quarter beats and such too, which might help. There was at least one slow 1-1 in the lesbian section that seemed to start on the offbeat and then slowly resolve to match the main beat, which was confusing. I think some of the 1-1's that were targeted on the offbeats didn't quite hit it either.

That said, I think the hardest thing in Beatmeter Generator is to get the BPM bar exactly on the beat. For me, at least, it involves zooming pretty much all the way in and shifting it in tiny increments, using the vertical red bar as a guide. But, once you have the BPM bar in place, your beats should snap to it perfectly.

Anyway, if you want, link me the audio file and your beatmeter file, and I can take a peek at it and maybe give you some tips if I see anything. Only if you want, of course. :)

Overall, I think it's a great first effort! :)

I liked the editing and the scene selection, especially the girl on girl scenes.
The beats were paced too slowly for me though, I played it with a 20% speedup.
I'm a big fan of fast and difficult beats, even if the content is soft-core and maybe also slowly paced, I still like a challenging beat with it.

I liked the source material, very nice girls.

So I created a funscript, for those who have a device to use it. It was made with The Handy in mind.

Since the two breaks you can either keep stroking or pause, one script has a slow continuous stroke, the other has an actual pause.

(And apparently a .funscript is not a valid extension, so they have been zipped first)

Great video, especially for the first one.
I liked that there were not too many girls and not too many cuts. Its nice to be able to follow them through the progression (which I also liked btw).

Some beats were not completely synced to the music but it wasn't too disctracting.

And thanks to yaspfa for the scripts (although I haven't tried them yet)

I agree with just about all said here. As a drummer and huge enthusiast at that, beats are rather important to me - and instinctual as well. Its hard for me to not be distracted by ill timing beats.

Sadly, while I know a lot about rhythm and beats and how it works in music-time, I don't know shit about putting together a beat meter for music. I can envision, follow, and predict beat patterns etc with the best of em, and most songs I play on drums I've learned by listening and dissecting what i hear and playing back, but changing those instinctual patterns into stuff using computer apps is not my friend. LOL

Great video stuff, great girls, and lots of fun, but the latter half was distracting from a beat perspective. All in all - if this is just your first foray - i believe you'll have learned a lot and have amazing things you can do on a sophomore project.

Yeah beats don't match the music sometimes (28:50 being just one random example).

I'm honestly hoping for a re-edit with fixed beats, otherwise I'm personally going to pass on this one. Which is a shame, because otherwise it looks very promising.
