If you took all the videos that Digitalparkinglot has created, it might total to 24 hours of footage.
Be prepared to spend at minimum 20 minutes editing per minute of video (I probably average 40). It would be faster but you have to factor in the time spent downloading clips, picking music, adding beats to the music, cutting videos up (more on this later), arranging clips, actually editing, etc. Unless you are planning on editing these videos with as little effort as possible, I don't think this project is something that can be accomplished unless you are extremely dedicated.
Start with a single round. Pick a song. Look at https://gitlab.com/SklaveDaniel/BeatmeterGenerator. You can use it to make a beat track .wav and then from there you have a backbone to sync your clips to. A more advanced solution would be to use a DAW and make the tracks align yourself. I don't know much about Resolve, I only use it to cut clips up automatically using their shot detection tool. (Very useful for cut heavy videos like StasyQ). In Premiere, I just drop markers to blockout the "level." I decide based on how the music sounds which instrument I want to use as my marker queue, and then I can snap clips to those markers. I don't like to spend alot of time fussing with effects and transitions, so most of the time I just use cuts. Make sure that there are no "ghost frames" at the beginning or end of the clip.
If you start with a single round, you will learn and it won't be as daunting of a task. Anyone can learn how to put together these videos. I sat on the sidelines yearning to make one for a few years before finally sitting down to do it.
