Apology accepted.

Intoxication is never an excuse, but who hasn't been there? :drunk:

This too shall pass.

More and more this site is becoming a victim of useless fights. You'd think the people visiting a site like this would be more the open minded kind.
Lately it results in people getting so disappointed with this community that they decide to leave.

It makes you think about the whole current setup of the site. I agree on the principals of the owners of this site of this being an open community and all and I think freedom of speech is very important.
Fact is though that it seems to have a huge negative effect which is a danger to the future of this site.
I'm sure loads of people could come up with solid solutions and I have a few ideas myself, but the first thing that needs to happen in my opinion is for the owners of this community to think about creating boundaries. I'd wish it would not be necessary, but like every community this one too suffers from some bad apples trying to ruin everything for all people part of it.

Rules and measures aren't a bad thing. It helps to keep a healthy community healthy and prevents from it being destroyed. I think too many people, especially some very active women, have been leaving this site and that process needs to be stopped asap.

Sometimes that's true, and there's always room for improvement.

At the same time, I think community tension, inter-personal fights, hurt feelings, and dramatic exits are a inevitible part of any community, net or otherwise, regardless of the rules or measures taken to prevent them. It happens in purely anarchic communities, it happens in the most heavily regulated communities. So I'm not sure I'd view it as a big failing of the particulars of the site or the rules so much as an inevitable part of creating and maintaining a community.

You sure have a point, but I think that the number of women leaving in the last couple of weeks is way too high. There are some people that are trying to frustrate this community on purpose under different usernames and I think we should not tolerate that and act on it. My focus is on these people.
Of course it's inevitable that people will leave. Like you say that will happen in all sorts of communities. But I'd like to see people leave happy and not frustrated and/or angry.

Fair enough. I should have prefaced my post by pointing out that I haven't run into any of the drama (is this mostly going on in chat?) so I'm speaking from a position of willful ignorance. So yeah, if we have trolls they have to be squished. I hear a bucket of ice water and an enthusiastically swung mallet often does the trick.

LET"S put all this shit to an end. I've seen this coming and the site was going down and becoming more distasteful. This is a GREAT site with GREAT members and it has to stop. Just simply stop the crap if you are guilty, whoever the guilty may be. I'm not in the mix, but as a member who greatly appreciates this site, i am asking that we move on and knock it off. This site is not about MISTRESS's or slaves, sissies, gays, or submissives. This site is all about T&D. Put away the ego's and the bad feelings and move on and enjoy this site for what it is and has been from the onset. Please?

SPAM. This should be deleted. Another alt account or something?

Good lord, the sooner we can move on from this little spat, the better.
