link issues?

Hi there

It seams, we have some link issues here on milovana. Links inserted into the editors are not rendered as link, but only as text, example

[url=https://www.google.com]linktext[/url]

:-)

Existing posts are not affected, only edited posts, and new posts.

Yes , that is how it is. In EOS you can at least copy the text. In NYX no.
Editors they are not programmed to show a hypertext link.

The issue is not only in the editor...

That worked before. Above example link was shown as link back in april.

Yes, that's exactly the issue. They are only broken, if you edit it. So if you edit your signature or any of your post, they are broken afterwards... My signature links are not broken yet, just because I didn't edit them yet :lol:

Also check out new posts like:

All the external links are just shown as text.

Any news on that matter?

PhpBB shows [url] is on as a BBCode. Toggling that probably won't fix it. Maybe the involved code segment has gotten broken by a PhpBB update newer than the BBCode module, etc. Regardless it's coming out of the BBCode parser unchanged.

Maybe the admins can look into that update-thing? After googling a bit, it seems like it's not an uncommon problem.

Would be so cool if it would work again!
