I don't like the negative tone of the first article.
People that enjoy masturbation or have some kinks he did not hear if are weird to this guy.
He should get the stick out of his ass unless it turns him on.

Yeah, I agree that the article could have been much better and I don't like the title at all. It's almost like the author is trying really hard to show that he is not some weirdo and he wouldn't normally watch something like this.
On the other hand I understand that it is written for mainstream audience and CH is weird and funny concept if you don't know much about it or if you don't enjoy it.
Atleast they asked Pornhub for stats which are kind of interesting.

Interesting statistics. About the article: You can almost feel that the author didnt play but just had a look at it. Compare that to the article that was published a few months ago.

But I find it funny that they dont even mention that CH-Videos are made by users for users

For me it is about control. Sometimes I feel like just watching something specific to get my rocks off but when it's Cock Hero it's about myself not being in control. I have to keep stroking no matter how close I am and just mentally try not to blow my load before the next round. Where as in the former if I feel like delaying a bit, I'll just stop and start again shortly after. Big difference in the mental component.
That's also why free style does nothing for me. I almost always treat them as a break. I'm also not huge on Edge rounds when they continue fast immediately after. That said, Stroker Ace did this amazingly well and the pacing was amazing. When the author was talking about how much effort he put into pacing, in a thread a few months (years?) ago, it shows.
That said on the flip side, I still do love "Fucking that Sound" and "No Mercy" even though they are absurdly fast at times. I go back to various spots in those as finishers if I "beat" a different Cock Hero.

I just looked at the country chart. I guess the Protestant reformation had some far-reaching consequences no one anticipated

Exactly this! I couldn't have said it better myself.

Lad bible is very normie.
Of course he's going to react negatively because this makes him feel awkward about his sexuality. I personally think this is because male sexuality is rarely appreciated. Especially in more conservative areas anything that goes outside of the box is considered taboo or at least shameful.
The fact is, his audience agrees with him and he is only writing the article for some small amount of cash.
Whatever, this genre isn't going to stop any time soon. Regardless, I expect this article doesn't hurt the genre, it just introduces those who would never have discovered it.

Now I am curious.................... The writer's profile states, "Jake enjoys playing football, listening to music and writing about himself in the third person. " So is he writing in the third person when he is says people are weird? Seems he has done plenty of research!
??????????

I laughed so much about the title of the first article. It already says everything you need to know about the attitude of the guy towards the concept of CH.
I am kinda curious about that peak in the CH searches over time, from Jun-16 to to Jun-17. No idea what caused it, and I think using the release of a video game at that time as an explanation is a bit far-fetched. Apart from that, I would love to know if the access statistics of Milovana match that graph.
On a side note, my boss asked me to write and publish a scientific paper about data analysis. Not sure if she would be happy if I'd choose such a topic though

Totally agree. That video (the third one, specifically) is a piece of art. It is unfortunate you can't experience it for the first time again. Although, I would probably fail 5 times, just like I did when I found it back then, before beating it (

) for the first time. The two or three scenes I kept failing at I will probably never forget.

Biggest surprise for me was that man are only about twice as likely to search for cock hero.
I knew that searches on Pornhub for man and woman are surprisingly similar but still... My guess would be at least 10x more likely. I wonder what is the actual ratio between CH viewers.
Could it really be 2 to 1?

Outrageous! This is another example of failing mainstream media...

Furthermore how many of these views are from couples?

With all the PornHub hickups, I would take their stats with a big grain of salt.

Millions of views??? Cock Hero productions are more of a niche, but I like the genre anyway. And about the play stats, they don't take into consideration that many people download, and play the videos any time they wish.

Views are listed individually for each post in the forum page:

EDIT:
I just clicked the
ladbible article...

They censor COCK HERO, and the people in the photo don't seem to enjoy themselves. Something's fishy! LOL!!!

1. More men than women, but, the stat is likely skewed very much, since the Pornhub membership self-reports their own gender. I suspect it's HIGHLY more likely that, among the fake reports, males claiming to be females outnumber females claiming to be males.
2. More in Finland. Again, the stat is likely skewed. Finland is one of the common default settings for a large number of virtual private network providers and other types of net-traffic anonymizers.
3. Snide tone of article. Gee what a surprise. It wouldn't get published (at least, not in that particular outlet) if the author's attitude were, instead, "Whoa, there's this AWESOME EXELLENT genre of porn that I can't resist and you should play it too! Try it, I KNOW you'll like it!" This is the issue with every single quippy women's magazine article out there (Chatelaine or Mademoiselle or MS tells you how to polish your nails, Vogue has one page on how to catch a guy at a laundromat, Better Homes and Gardens has two spreads on how to make sure your home plants bloom at the same time that the guests arrive ...). Without the quippy tone, the contents would be taken as serious and well-researched, which would mean, GASP!, the author would either (a) be called out for having failed to do his research or (b) would have to do his research more carefully. Not gonna happen.
