There seems to be alot of spam all of a sudden?

Well, on the bright side, it just means the boards here are active enough for spammers to want to target, which should be a plus

I wish I could say that is true... I had to close my forum because of all the bot advertisement. It seemed to happen all within a month. I only had 30+ actually people, the other 100+ was bots. I just don't want to see Milovana get defamed or over run. The people in the community are amazing and should be a clean welcome place to enjoy

Need to put a hex, or curse on all the bots.

Yeah, this spam is fucking pissing me off. I will talk to the other moderators and see what we can do.

I haven't seen much more than normal.... am I being left out? LOL

You need a stricter CAPTCHA system on signups. I know there are phpbb plugins out there that do this. Talk to sera, I'm sure he can work it out

I loved Princess Raquel's forum, but it was destroyed by stupid bots and sometimes dangerous ones as well. I guess it is a virus.

But it spoils a lot of basically mosty at times innocent fun.

Worse it wastes time.

I cant remember if Milo has a CAPTCHA when you register (eg "enter the following characters from the image...blah") If it does then it seems it isnt strict enough, if we dont have one then we need one :P
