I disagree with the 3000 views until release (If he actually releases it upon 3000 views and this isn't just a trailer thrown together while fishing for paypal donations which is scarily feasible) I eagerly await the relase.

That. I could MAYBE understand that if he was well known and released multiple videos in the past but had some trouble releasing more or there were voices of people who wanted to willingly support him BEFORE he actually asked for any kind of support. To me this looks like someone who thought there's money to be made here, probably after seeing NubileFilms releasing their own CH recently.

I actually hope he doesn't release it, I don't want this stuff to become a trend.

Update on Pornhub from StarKiz as of 10/31, he's hoping to post soon. The video is 11GB.

I am cautiously optimistic about this one.

So, if the file size is 11GB, we could assume that the length is at least over 7 hours. I'm a bit skeptical about someone's first upload being a massive project. No one knows them? They do not have a following, or a recognisable name.

Even if they made the video 720p, you could probably almost upload about 15 hours and it would be almost 11GB.

By the way, the trailer now has over 3000 views. I'm calling bullshit to this whole project.

Pornhub shrinks the video upon upload. Island 4 is actually 10.1 GB (torrent version).
Regardless, size of a video file is not only depended on resolution. It actually depends on bitrate. If you compress it, you can really shrink the size, but the video quality would suffer in the process.

So a 2 hours 720p video as he stated can be 11GB if he didn't compress it much(or used a high bitrate compression). If you ask me the higher bitrate the better. I just hope he uploads it to torrent or mega too. Because I never watch cock hero videos from pornhub. Can't stand the quality.

I guess it should be no big secret that the size of videos is mostly about how it's rendered/compressed/whatnot, so doing calculations like this borders zero relevance. Let's try to keep a positive environment here to appreciate the artists instead of trying to spread wild accusations before no proof of foul play exists, thank you

I don't think it's zero relevance. It doesn't actually PROVE anything, but it SUGGESTS a whole great big deal. His logical progression does lack a little bit of the whole syllogism, in the manner he posted it, but, you can quickly make the connections. Here, I'll try ...

The calculations demonstrate the file-size to which a certain time-length at a certain pixel-resolution CAN reasonably be reduced. Yet the video's creators have NOT reasonably reduced their file size to that size. We might simply say, "Oh, but that doesn't PROVE anything." True. But how about if we indulge in some less linear reasoning. How about we get all, you know, ASSOCIATIVE. What's the next question? Of course, it's this: we ask, "why the fuck not?"

Well, we can't actually prove anything. We don't know the actual reason why they haven't reduced the file size. On that question we can conclude any of several points, in plain old logical linear progression, such as, that they didn't do a good job rendering, or, they are trying to look impressive by over-sizing the thing, or, there are spam-bots and viruses packed throughout it, or, there are several alternate tracks, endings, and other types of Easter eggs. You make up more, fine with me, and yes, none of them is PROVEN logically. Nevertheless, they SUGGEST a lot.

For me the most likely conclusion is, they don't know what they're doing. Either they're announcing something with a size falsely inflated to hugeness, in the hopes of sounding huge while being unaware that the hugeness is unreasonably huge; or they're announcing an actual uninflated huge size, while being (again, the same) unaware that the hugeness is unreasonably huge.

The hugeness is unreasonably huge. Therefore, the creator of the hugeness has created said huge thing by means of, at least in part, a procedure that is unreasonable. There's your syllogism.

Yup, Pornhub compresses the shit out of everything. I vastly prefer direct downloads/torrents for that reason.
