Editing VR

QUESTION: What (windows) software is an inexpensive means of splicing/editing VR PORN (180 degree videos)?

I am very amateur editor of vids so far. I cut my teeth using Windows Movie Maker- a free and yes very basic format that allowed me to make home videos and try out some things as I learn how to do this - it's very limiting to mostly just cutting/deleting/splicing various scenes. Because of my low tech-savvy status, it was an easy program to learn. I've seen some of the more "pro" looking software for editing and it's like reading Russian Medical Documents - backwards.

What I've been using it for it compiling the good bits from several vids and cutting out a lot of the ancillary stuff so as to make less material to upload for our Inferno project from which Raga can view and select from.

I'm now interested in editing a stockpile of my 180VR stuff I have so that I can string together some of my favorite stuff into one file so that I can trim one 4 GB files into four 1GB files and put them all together eventually maybe even making a PMV of the choice cuts.

Windows Movie Maker is not compatible with the VR vids and cannot create anything with higher than 1080 res. SO _ my question remains - for anyone who tried editing VR vids - what software can they point me to that I can try - that isn't too complicated (yet); I have a long ways to go before trying my hand at some of the real complicated software. I just want to be able to cut a 40 min video down the best 10 minutes at this point.

I use adobe premiere, not sure what other editors are out there. As long as the editor doesn't have a size / res limit you can use it for VR since it is flat video.

Some of them can look intimidating, but with a few youtube tutorials it can really help the work flow, but for the most part they all do the same thing, edit clips on a timeline, same as movie maker. They just have a shit load of features that can be safely ignored if doing basic editing.

Doesn't that have like a monthly fee to use?
