This is something i often start to think about, especially when i get frustrated with all the shortcomings of current chastity devices.

And although my thoughts are more based on fiction than science, i can't help but secretely hope that it will be possible sometimes in the hopefully not so far future. It is theoretically possible to connect the human brain to a computer. For now the purpose for that could be extern memorie storage, dream recording or uploading thoughts or feelings.
Now i think to myself, our brain controls everything in our body....what if someone could write a programme that would alter the brain function in some regards...like a mod in a videogame.

How could that work out in terms of orgasm control? I imagine, it could be possible to disable the nerv connections from the genitals to the brain, making everything down there completely numb and therefore preventing you completely from feeling any pleasure.
Maybe it would be even possible to prevent the bodily functions needed to get an erection. I don't know what would be more frustrating: to have a limp dick that still feels pleasure, to have a hard dick that doesn't feel anything, or having a limp AND numb dick.

Now this would make the life of a sub a lot easier and the control of the dom even greater. No device is needed anymore, which defeats all the disadvantages that come with such devices. There seem to be so much possibilities and i often get carried away in those thoughts, but at the end of the day i have to be realistic about it. First of all, it would be expensive and it would probably require some kind of surgery on the brain. Given the kinky nature of this and the fact, that you can't just order it anonymously on the internet will scare many customers away (including myself). Very few people would ever actually want this in my opinion. Being someone who takes nearly forever to be able to get off, I don't get to cum very often. The inability to experience pleasure has a name: anhedonia. It sucks. For those who have a really tough time getting past the point of no return, we can say the option presented in the OP would be exceptionally undesirable when you do not have the option to "switch things back on".

To some it may sound like an attractive option from a denial perspective, it would very likely lose its appeal rather quickly.

Well, from your standpoint it would be not that exciting, i get that. And i wouldn't want to change with you either. The concept of this brain control would obviously include a simple method to "de-install" mods if they are not that what you wanted, or if they become annoying. It's really more like a teasing software installed in your body, for the sake of it why not include some kind of saveword for the sub if things get really ugly.

And if such a technology ever will be a thing, i am pretty sure it could help you with your problem too....i havn't looked up what anhedonia exactly is, but i guess it's more a psychologial problem than a physical.

I thought about that too....an operating system in the brain that gets implanted soon after birth would definitively be the most easy way to get what i want, especially if you have complete control of it. And of course it will be troublesome sometimes with all the things that could happen like you mentioned. I still can't help, but get excited about it
