Anyone else having this issue? I uploaded a bunch of .jpgs in the nxy editor but when I select them to appear on a particular page I cant see them on the visual editor or the preview section. It just keeps showing the default question mark but it does show the proper image name.

No, I don't have that issue. I can see all the pictures.

*EDIT*: I have to correct myself. I do get this from time to time. After closing the browser (and deleting the cache, ..) it works though... I've never noticed this before "Milovana was back"

if you open your dom inspector (right click and 'inspect' or 'ctrl shift i' on chrome) then goto the network tab and then refresh the page you should be able to see if lots of info in there but lines you are interested in is the .jpg's

if they are in red it should tell you a reason next to them why they are being blocked.
if they are not in red - then right click on them and open link in new tab - to make sure the correct image is showing.

also at the same time if you are on chrome (not sure if this is the same on other browsers), whilst the dom inspector is open right click on the browser refresh button and click on 'empty cache ad hard reload'

In the media tab, all uploaded images are very pixelated. And when I open them in the new tab like you said they are very small. Like icons instead of images.

On the 'visuals' tab, there are no .jpeg 's. All I can see is

This is the question mark replacing all the images.

Now I don't know what I'm talking about but maybe the issue is with the 'getMediaAsset' command? for some reason replacing everything with the question mark icon.

Or maybe this even happen upon uploading?

That's normal - I did that back in 2008 to save bandwidth and since I don't have the Nyx source code anymore, I can't easily change it.
