User geforceguy asking for activation e-mail

Hi,

I was contacted outside this forum by geforceguy, who's trying to get access with his new account. Here's what he sent me:
I had trouble registering for the Milovana Forum but eventually got an account made. However, it's been days and I've not received an activation notification. I sent a message to the mods there and two emails, too, asking for the activation email be sent to me. Can you speak to someone there about this? I'd love to be able to participate in the CH topics.
If anyone needs his e-mail to help him, I can provide via PM.

Thanks!

Unfortunately account activation is kind of screwed up at the moment. The site was overrun with spam and scam accounts. A decision was made to make it so every new account needs to be confirmed manually by an admin. Unfortunately we don't have any active admins at the moment and effectively as it stands no one new can sign up for the site.

I'd love to be able to give you some kind of timeframe to give your friend hope that his account will be activated sometime soon, but I just can't. Until the admins become more active, or until Ph0x changes the way sign ups work, thing will stay as they are indefinitely.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help :-(

Hi Banquo/Anyone else who might know.

Is there any more information on this?

It doesn't affect me directly but it does seem to me there's a drop in traffic and I'd kind of like it to go up for selfish reasons, namely I happen to like this site and its creative participants.

Thank you.

I'm afraid not :-(
