As per written in the title, I really wanted to show a .gif on my signature. However, it just doesn't show up on my signature. Please help!

Try using the following URL instead but keep in mind that this is a fairly large image that some people may complain about. I might recommend putting it in a spoiler.

The URL you were trying to use before was not directly linked to the image but the page it was hosted on. Notice the lack of filetype at the end: By right clicking the image on that page and selecting "open image in new tab" you get just the image by itself. This one ends in .gif:
