Has anyone experimented with getting an Arduino-controlled vibrator/device to work with the Cock Hero videos?
I have build a toy, 6 vibrators (not for anal, the vibs are surrounding the cock), controlled by an Arduino, and just lately I have tested to play a beat-pattern (start and stop them according to the miliseconds of a beat).
It doesn't work in the way you may think of, and the way I thought of, because beats are coming too fast, but a vibrator needs it's time to get on full speed, let's say it needs 1 till 2 seconds to be on full speed, most beats are much faster, and then before you feel a good amount of vibrations it also needs at least 1 second more.
So, a 'normal' vibrator is much to slow to be controlled by a beat pattern.

Find a toy that can be on full speed within lets say 200 miliseconds, and we could talk further. :-)

I have used speaker motors for a long time. Instant vibes as you might say.
You can drive a pair directly connected to your member with audio from a CH, or use an Arduino to gate some freq. (or create it), or use waves like in Psytrance1 hero.

A pair of 2" speakers with 1 placed against each ball is interesting to start with.

ON topic now, speakers are the vibrators that are very fast.

That is an interesting idea, but I thought about it for a while, really, ... I can't imagine a working sextoy builded with speakers, don't know how this should look like.
(And what would the neighbors say when I would play Cock-Hero Videos extra loud - the louder - the more vibration?!)

Exactly the same I use ;-).

analluvr wrote: I think I might try programming the Arduino for various beats (for a specific CH) and then I will use switches to change the vibes between rounds. I think going at ~120bpm(?) and more will create problems with the vibe, so I might simplify the vibrations to 1-2 and 1-2-3 and maybe some more depending on the CH video itself (I know that CH 15 has a 1-1-123 beat at times, so that's reasonably doable).

Alternatively, it may be possible to have multiple motors and have them vibrate every other CH beat (or something like that). I don't know how that would work in terms of fitting everything tightly and keeping a strong vibe, but I'll look into it.

Just as a friendly hint:
Don't start to develop a huge program with whatsoever different beats and such, just try a simple on/off controlling the motors and try how it acually 'feels', .. a simple beat, try switching vibrators on / off for 1500 miliseconds (slow beat) - 10 times, 700 ms - 20 times and 200 ms 50 times (fast beat) just to see if that works for you, ... if so, ... start develop a beat based arduino program (and please share) - if not, don't waste your time. ;-)

I can say it has looked like several things since I first started. Just put a 6 inch mid range speaker against your member to get the idea. Then I evolved the design with removal of the cone and the addition of a shaft for direct coupling to the speaker.
This pretty much makes lots of vibration without a lot of audible noise. At least it stays within my play room and is not as loud as I usually play music for listening. Cone removal completely destroys the operating specifications of the speaker so it is not easy without a few speaker disasters.

For me it has been a good project. The CH's found here along with PMV found all over have really provided my audio vibe a lot of material to feel!

Seems like some of my old speakers will get damaged soon, ... really got me curious, interesting concept!
Do you maybe have any photos of what you have build to share with us?
(You have described it good, but I never have worked with speakers, so, any additional visualization/photos maybe would be helpful.)

Best greetings,

I haven't experimented at all with Arduino and the CH beat pattern files. However, I do own a LELO HUGO, which is a vibrating prostate massager with a remote. I usually don't use it when I play Cock Hero, but I have a few times, and it can be pleasant. It has some built-in patterns you can access with the remote, but I usually don't use those with CH because it's hard to find one that is perfectly in-sync with the video. (I guess that's what Arduino is for!) But I do set it on a steady vibration, and then vary the intensity/strength of the vibrations by adjusting it with the remote as I'm playing CH. Basically, if the beats in CH get faster or more intense, I increase the intensity of the vibrations to the prostate massager, and, likewise, if the beats get slower or less intense, I use the remote to back off the intensity of the prostate massager. Doing that with the HUGO remote is simple, because one of the modes you can put it in is an adjustable vibration speed that gets faster and slower by just *tipping* the remote. Keeping the remote level/horizontal gives a slow rumbling vibration, and tipping it increases the intensity until the remote is vertical and the vibration strength is at 100%. That works well enough for my tastes. :)
