Hey folks, long time lurker first time poster here.

Long story short I've been trying to figure out a way to measure horniness, but can't just experiment on myself for decent results - so I figured this'd be a great place to find some willing subjects I probably wouldn't be running the experiment for a couple of weeks yet, but figured I'd post this to see if anyone was interested in, uh, "furthering the course of science". It'll probably involve a set number of edges and then doing some quick tests to compare to how horny you think you are each day for a week or so. Oh, and for anyone considering it but already in denial for whatever reason this will involve a few orgasms over the week, namely however many is needed at the start to drain you dry (so everyone starts from the same point) and one at the end (to see what effect it has). I reckon I need at least 6-8 people volunteering to make it work.

The ideas I've had so far for measuring are:
Time taken to get hard from completely soft - difficult, there'd need to be something that everyone finds equally sexy
Time taken to get soft from hard - easier by far
Weight of balls - not likely to work, but worth checking, right?

So yeah, if anyone's interested, has an idea, or even knows the answer to make me having typed this out completely pointless, let me know!

Theres not really any way to measure "horniness" besides self reported feelings. And emotions change each day, every second sometimes.
Hardness may not work, because it is not a reliable indicator, as so many things affect it.
I like the idea though

I think its a cool idea. If you wanted to, create the tasks over the week as teases and have a forum entry where people can leave their results, seems like the best way to get the most feedback.
Then despite the fact that everyone is different, you might be able to find trends in peoples changing reactions over the course of the experiment. Either way, sounds like a bit of fun and something different, And its for science!

Then there is hormones, medical drugs, and a whole boatload of other things to add in that could affect it.

True, I suppose the best case scenario would be to get a relation, fit all of those complications into constants and hope for the best! The number of people's still way bigger than I'd get access to without, y'know, funding though.

I figure people might be slightly more honest "for science" than they would be otherwise - I had a domme complaining to me a while ago about how after the first 10-20 mins of teasing there are no new reactions, even though she knows that more can be done she just doesn't enjoy it as much because of that? So I guess my idea was to find a way to get around it being self reported

Will not work.
1) when you ejaculate the amount of semen from BALLS is actually miniscule - 1-2 mg. The rest is prostate fluid.
2) depending on how much you drink, how much salt you eat - your balls (and other body parts) will change weight during the day.
3) Balls do not get heavier, harder or bigger after abstinence.

Weeeell, i am not sure it would work like that, at least for me. What i would propose, would be a few orgasms before the start, just to be sure and then i think hornyness can be easily measured visibly by how long it takes to get an erection, which in turn would require more frustration. Now i don't know about all cocks, since some lack the T, being a T-rans lol, but i personally get a certain mental release if edging and for me it would be much more frustrating, not to touch the cock at all and just do some Kegel exercises, which are very frustrating.
So the test would be to measure time it takes before to get a full erection and after the test, without touching it obviously, which could be a week or two.
Again, i have no idea how men with cocks tackle edging, i always felt it different.

And for a vagina, uhmm, measure how much time it takes to wet a pillow while humping it and compare before and after? since measuring quantity of thew liquid seems silly to me.
