Blackmail Fantasy Videos - what's the risk?

I am very new to watching blackmail videos, but I've played along a few times, sending information or pictures of myself. I've never signed a contract. My questions:

1) As I understand it (correct me if I'm wrong), they can't legally use pictures or info you send to blackmail you, unless you've signed an actual blackmail contract, right? I assume their threats in videos are all bluff, so there's no real risk of them outting you to your family, friends, etc., is there? Because they could be arrested for that, am I right?

2) Some findoms claim that they can get your name, address, phone, and even credit card info through the clips stores such as clips4sale. Is any of this true? Even though those sites collect that information, I totally doubt they would send that info to their stores.

3) Again, as I understand it, the findom can make any blackmail threats or demands for you to send them money in the videos, because they are just role playing in a FANTASY video, so it's not real. I assume they could not actually send you emails or phone calls, etc. because that would no longer be considered fantasy, but actual blackmail. In other words, anything they say in their blackmail fantasy videos is pure bluff, right?

In a world were identity theft is a common occurrence...

some articles on people actually blackmailed..

There is a chance that she (well the people she works for) will not fulfill their threat. They incur greater risk of getting caught by actually posting the material.

So one option would be to say to them the next time they contact you, "Following the advice of [name of local police department], I have decided not to pay what you ask. So I have started to inform friends and family about the chat session."

This lets them know (without bluster) that you have informed the police. Sure, you may be bluffing about informing your family and friends, but if you don't over sell it (don't say things like, "Ha. I've told my family. Do your worst"), your bluff along with the fact that police are involved may be enough.

But only you can make that decision. It is your neck on the line, not mine. So I offer my suggestion as an option which you may follow or ignore as you see fit.

it May be all a bluff.. but are you willing to suffer the consequences?? If it isn't?

I find doubtful, that simply by watching a video on a streaming site, that any one could get that level of information. However on pay sites, you have handed over info. But my gut feeling is that most pay sites would value their customers privacy. So unless they were to be hacked, then you are probably safe.

As for sending info willingly, I would be very very careful. There has been a lot on the press about sextortion, and people blackmailing folks for real, not just as part of play.

Good luck exploring your kink.

Thanks for the advice. I will tread carefully.

The blackmail fantasy videos I'm talking about are ones you buy on clips4Sale and similar sites, offered by well known video dommes such as Inked Emma and Goddess Jessica, etc. So these are videos aimed at a general audience, not me in particular.
These are not anonymous people I met on Facebook or Skype. (I don't even have Skype). They could be easily traced, since they have set up business accounts with the various clips stores.
So I imagine they have a lot more to lose than I do by trying to embarrass me. Besides, what are they going to do? Tell my Facebook friends I've bought porn videos? 90% of men look at porn.
