Hello everyone,
I present you my new flash-tease: Iana's maze.
If you find any bugs/errors, please let me know, so I can fix them as fast as possible.
Here's the TeaseMe-version:
Iana's maze (TeaseMe)
Here's the patch for Iana's maze:
Iana's maze (TeaseMe)patch
To update Iana's maze, please replace the file Iana's maze.xml with the new one.
Copy the folder "patch01" in the folder Iana's maze. -> .../TeaseMe/Teases/Iana's maze/patch01
Nyx-Version is also updated.
Have fun

Love your mazes, thanks. I have tried to use Tease me for a long time and never can figure it out or get it to work. Any hints your steps to get it going for me. Thanks

Not sure if I can really help, but once you extract teasme somewhere you should have a folder in there called "Teases" in there. Inside that folder you should place your teases, so for example for this one you should have a folder structure like this:
Code: Select all
TeaseMe-v0.1.4
---Teases
|---Iana's maze (a folder)
|---Iana's maze.xml
From there just run TeaseMe.exe from the root folder, click the blue folder thing in the top rightish, then select lana's maze from the teases path and you should be good to go.
Hope that helps.

Do you have the latest TeasMe-version? If yes, just do as desertfox wrote. -> unpack the zip-file in the folder named "Teases". Than start TeasMe and open the tease.

I'll just chip in too and say it was a great tease. Your mazes are always very well implemented. Nice work!

Hello there!
I really enjoyed the tease. At least, the part I was able to do. I'm not sure how helpful this will be, but I came to a point very late in the tease, after going west a bunch of times, where the screen was blank. I wasn't able to click anything or do anything to proceed. Again, not sure how much that helps, but something to look out for.
Hope you make more, the teasing itself was amazing!

Thank you Morm. It really helped, and it's fixed.
Sorry for that error, it was a possible exit with a wrong number..
The TeasMe-version isn't affected with that bug, so there's no hotfix necessary

Had time to actually do the maze and wow it was a good one! I really, really like your selection of girls and photosets, which might have been why I was enjoying it so much. Really nice stuff!

Finally I'm able to create an account ... have been trying for a long time ... wanted to say that all your mazes are really amazing and always make my day!

.. mapped a fair bit of this maze .. seems like there are a lot of dead ends

... I managed to burn through all the girls and now the girls are repeating

... hope to finish the maze any day now!
Edit: Finished it
Amazing maze. I tried to map it (some places are still unexplored). Could you look at my map, I have some confusion about the question marked area, whether it is a bug or purposefully made, either way it confused me.

I checked the location and it seems it's working as intended.
You should have listened to Indiana at the begining
The position of the exit changes everytime you enter the maze. I made it to keep it challenging at the second (third...) time

Another stunning maze! schefflera, the way you randomize the maze for replayability, plus the way you track "special" girls for Finale encounters -- fantastic technical work! On top of that, your selection of girls is excellent, too.
Feedback with
spoilers:

- The Steph Brooks pics, in particular, made my eyes water. So good!
Slow metronome stroking immediately after edging is nearly guaranteed to make me fail. Perhaps that's just me. Or perhaps you wanted people to fail there, but I met a lot of girls in the maze who asked for that. And perhaps I just had bad luck. Either way, I cheated to get through those parts.
Toxic kicked my ass. So, of course, I chose her for my Finale at the Exit. Her Finale encounter was excellent, especially the part where she makes you beg, but I wanted more. My heart wanted that encounter to be at least 3x longer than it was -- even if it would have wrecked my body. My mind was slowly sinking, but I had not yet reached the "edge-slave" mindspace that she wanted. I know how hard it is to write a long, rapid-fire edging sequence though -- it adds a lot of short slides to an already huge tease. You can repeat pictures if you have to, but it can feel repetitive if you don't add good, short banter -- it's harder to write than most people think, and you did a great job overall. Just my humble wish that it was longer. Still an unquestionable 5-star tease, though!
The technical framework you built has a frightening amount of potential. Since the teases are randomly drawn from a pool of scripted encounters, is it possible to "plug-and-play" the tease encounters from your first maze into this maze? (perhaps with some minor technical updates, to make them compatible?) If you build your future mazes with something like that in mind, you could have a massive, growing collection of tease rooms.
For example: This maze had 26 girls; your next maze could include those same 26 encounters, plus 26 more (52 total), since the encounters are modular. The next maze could have 26 more (78 total), etc, etc. You could publish each new maze twice: Publish one copy with just the new girls, for people who played your previous mazes and now only want fresh, new encounters; then publish a second copy with the new girls, plus all the girls from your previous mazes, for people who want maximum replayability and variety in a single maze.
This has awesome potential. You already make the exit random, for replayability. You could randomize certain corridors and connections, too. You already have a system for "plugging-in" special Finale girls. Combine the content of all your mazes, and imagine a maze with 78 girls and 12 Finale girls, where the connections and exit randomly reconfigure each time you play (but not during play). It's a framework for an end-all, be-all maze tease, leaving you (or fans) free to just find more hot picture sets and write more plug-and-play encounters and Finales. Something to consider! Amazing work!
