Beatronome - Very simple CHC Random Round

Hi everyone!

I have made a VERY little program which plays random beats, inspiered by CHC's.
Not sure if it is helpful here or maybe just fun to play with it for someone, but on the other hand I thought, doesn't hurt to share it anyway.

So, the way this beatronome is meant to be used is as a random CHC (Cock Hero Challenge (- Round)) for whatever you want, i.e. videos (better without music in it, a second beat would be distracting) or slideshows.... so you have to start this beatronome along with something that turns you on, erotic / porn, ... what ever.

How it works:
- The program starts always with a warmup round. (Steady beat)
- Then a random number chooses the next action

Next possible actions (choosen randomly):
- steady beat (the chance for a steady beat is higher than for other beats)
- unsteady beat
- 1---1---123 beat
- pause

Every time when a new 'action' will be choosed, the values of it (speed / pause time between beats and such) will be randomly choosed again, ... there is an overall time-limit ( 3 till 9 minutes in this version).
You can use Beatronome to play it 'by the rules' of the normal CHCs, you also have the possibility to 'cheat' (pause) the program.
To pause the programm hit 'E' on your keyboard.

Important to know:
'E' is a hotkey, as long as Beatronome is running, the key 'E' will not work in any other program.

There is no cumming intended, that's why i'd call it a 'Round' of CHC.
It starts minimized, but you can access the program window to get some informations (i.e. Bpm and such).

Have fun!

First screenshot shows how to set the overall timelimit (if you do not set it, then its a default value randomly choosed betwenn 3 till 9 minutes):

Nice work. For whatever reason, I didn't have any problem downloading the program or getting it to operate. I ran it with my photos in IrfanView. It was very enjoyable. Can't offer any solutions to problems because I'm not a computer geek except to try downloading it again.

Sorry, I guess that is my fault, I compiled it with settings for a Win64 application, as I used to do so (mea culpa), I have compiled a new version which hopefully work also on Win32 Systems. (If not, just let me know)

Nice to hear that! ... I think running an automatically running slideshow works best for that beatronome.

Anyway here is the new version, I adjusted some values (boundaries of random values) so that the beat changes a little bit more often (like 1-1-123 was to often in a row), the overall time changed also from 6 till 15 minutes to 3 till 9 minutes.

In concept, this is an AWESOME idea! I do think it needs some tweaking yet ... which I hope one of you geniuses (the original creator?) can implement.
So, I just downloaded and ran the newest version, and it works fine for me (Windows 10, x64). I respectfully submit these suggestions ...

1. Advance warning

The user gets a FORE-WARNING of beat-change, and what it's going to change to. In other words, five seconds BEFORE a new beat, something tells me WHAT the new beat is going to be, so that when it arrives, I'll be ready for it and can keep up with it more easily.

2. Visual indication

Presently, I can see (sort of) what it's going to do, if I read the fine print. But that's a bit annoying. I want something big and pulsating like a ... like (a big pulsating dick? NO!) LIKE ... a BEAT METER yeah, that's it! Or a flashing light. Or at least, much larger text output.

Just some thoughts. Thanks for creating this! It's a wonderful idea and works pretty well already. :w00t:

ok, I still got the Win32 error with the new version. I have not tried this on another machine. The machine that I use for this runs XP. If I have time soon I'll try it on another.

Thanks for your efforts!

I waited ages for something like that. Thanks

Do you plan to make a mac-compatible version?

Unfortunately if i convert it with wine the program closes with the first beatchange.

greetings

Is there a Linux Version available?
What kind of program language do you use?

This is really cool. I just wish that you were able to change the overall time limit in the program. Also, a greater variety of beat patterns would be awesome.

Wow, didn't expected that much interest in it!

I thought about it, especially as you mentioned XP, it might be necessary to have .net 4.5 framework installed on your PC to make it run, official microsoft download:
https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/downloa ... x?id=30653

(That is the german link I get, ... just google for ".net 4.5 framework" and you'll get a result from microsoft for your language and Win-Version)
udo100 wrote:Is there a Linux Version available?
Sorry, no, i have zero experience with linux systems.
What kind of program language do you use?
This is written/develpoed in Visual Express C# 2013.
Kaladin2k wrote: Do you plan to make a mac-compatible version?
No, ... zero experience with mac-systems either.
book_guy wrote:I respectfully submit these suggestions ...
Well, at the moment I do not have much time for this, so the only changes I would do are those which mean only a little work, ... some suggestions would lead to concept and build it anew, I do not have plans to do so, at least not in the near future.

The new version has (inspired by the given feedback):
- a blinking box for visual indication
- a forewarning for beat changes (via text and the blinking box changes it blinks from green to red,
but it's not 5 seconds because the program is concepted to count the beats instead of taking the time, so the last 5 beats (when it's steady beat) and the last 3 'rounds' (for the rest) are red, ... a round is i.e. 1---1---123.
- the beat is written in the top of the program (so it's also readable when minimized), and also in bigger letters in the text-label.
- nearly no minimum window-size, so you can resize the program-window to 'hide' informations which are not of interesst to you
- Overall timelimit can be given with 'arguments', how to do so see the screenshot (attached to the first post). If you choose different values for minimum and maximum overall time, then it has a random duration generated by these bounderies, you also can put the same value in twice, that would mean that it run for that specific time.
The first value is the minimum running time, second value is the maximum running time, ... both in seconds.

Note:
All changes are 'optical',... the generation of the beats didn't changed from version 02 to 03.

I love seeing people innovating like this. :)

Anyone interested in this may also be interested in a Windows app called Cam 1351. It was written in 2009 by Milovana member Orion_be. It has some similar features as Beatronome (and some different ones).
