Hey all,

I want to wear a ring instead of a collar to express that I am owned by a Mistress.

three questions about that:
1) On what finger would a submissive wear such a ring?
2) what should be engraved in it?
3) websites for high quality rings you can have engraved?

Hello dear.

First of all, I understand you. Our society keeps having some absurds taboos about collars and D/s, sadly.
I prefer My subs to have a collar, but, since it's impossible for them to wear it on all times, I develop a "collar replace" system too. (only mine is based on pendants instead of rings)

I try to answer your questions, but remember all what I say are merely reccomendations, not actual rules.

1) I suggest you to avoid index finger, also to avoid your useful hand (right, if you are righthanded). That's why index and useful hand are symbols of command, so are unappropiate.

2) In My sub's pendants I engraved My name and their rank... For example, "Queen Lucia's maidboy"... But a simple "(Your Domme name)'s sub" can be appropiate.

3) Sadly, I dont use a website... I trust in my jewelry regular shop, but I'm sure a google search give you some good and interesting ideas.

Well i wished it would be easy like this, but it´s not...

So let´s be serious a Collar will not work, it´s just impossible to wear it all the time, sadly >.<

Since it´s impossible there are a few solutions to use a replacement for a collar,

-you can use Pendants as Queen Lucia does

-you can use Dog Tags as my Princess does (i have one engraved on a Necklace and another one on my Keys)

-you even could get a tattoo if you are 100% sure, but you of course could regret this one day

what i am trying to say is there are tons of solutions to this, it don´t needs to be a ring, but if that´s what you want:

1.On what finger would a submissive wear such a ring?

i don´t think that there is a rule to this, but as a sub i would say on the weak hand, i can´t describe why but it just feels/sounds right.

2.What should be engraved in it?

First of all that should not be your decision! Your Mistress should decide what you engrave for her,
so you simply should ask her, just as a Tip you might want to think about what she would like and tell her this.

3.Websites for high quality rings you can have engraved?

i don´t know Sites, but you could just for example search for "ring engraving" most sites that do the engraving also sell the rings.
