Thanks for the reply - I'm trying to avoid the balls totally (just out of surgery, and need to take it easy for a couple of months, likely knocked the possibility of hard ball busting out the window permanently unfortunately)

An infected epididymal cyst needed to be removed, which is fairly common and straight forward, but there was a complication during surgery which damaged the testicle.

If you're just out of surgery, it's probably best to leave out any masturbation for a while.
