However, a bucket of water sounds like way too much to drink at once. Have you heard of water intoxication?

too little water is also a problem, your pee should be pale yellow to clear, if it is dark yellow to brownish you are drinking too little.

A&E/ER are probably the best to ask, they see lots of objects stuck after being inserted into unusual places and dealing with situations where things have not gone as planned.
But most people in health care have an earthy sense of humour and are pretty much un-shockable.
