Teases cluttered?

I like the new look of the site, but I don't like the new look of the teases themselves.
The new text looks very nice, but the picture and text feel squeezed between the header and footer of the site.
There is also a lot of empty space around the edges of the teases. I use 1280x1024 and I don't know if that's why there's so much space.
It makes the pictures and text look 'further' away than before.
I don't think we need the girl laying down on the bottom of every tease. It's a cool graphic, but ultimately I think it gets in the way of the tease.
I think people will end up trying to ignore all that other stuff in order to get the most out of each tease, and if people are attempting to ignore something then it probably doesn't need to be there in the first place.
I think a simple menu across the top is enough, and everything else under it should be part of the tease.
Just some thoughts for a great site.

I had a discussion about this with seraph0x and he was cooperative and changed something. Before that, the header was bigger than now.
My opinion is that it looks better than before, but you are right. For me it's too much design around the teases. Although i use 1024x768 res and i don't see anything of the design under the picture.
But i think it's a question of consetude. Maybe it would be great to give the users the ability to switch from a design, to a blank page with only the picture and the text.
Another point i want to suggest is the tease survey on the mainpage. Maybe it would be better to open the survey on a new html document, to prevent the current look which is right-justified and keeps the left area blank.
But hey we should grant seraph0x a little break. He worked hard and spent a lot of time in the new design the last days.
By the way this is an example for the 1024x768 res:
I think it's nice.

I will generally appreciate options or scalability in websites. I'm running a dual screen set-up, with my main display being a 1366-pixels wide and the other 1280. There are quite a few people that have odd setups like mine or otherwise have some of their screen eaten up by frames or docked applications, such as a dockable IM client or NetZero (Ad-supported.) Of course that begs the questions: how many need free dial-up to access their teases, and who is IMing while on a tease. But my point is that different options are valueable and hopefully viable.
For comparison, you should be able to see the same tease as viewed from my desktop.

I must admit that I was a little indecisive about this. But in the end I have to say, that I agree with you guys. Technically it's a little more difficult than it may seem, because it demands a complete redesign of the footer and even poses questions like: Do we still keep the buttons? (Impressum, ...)
But I'll take the opportunity to create it as a general "minimal" template that might be used for other things in the future.

What tease survey? I'm confused.

Thanks. Right now my conputer is giving me trouble and I have to resolve that first. But soon, I'll be back on track.
