I would also agree that it's most likely from the Queen of Persia series. I'll check when I get home, because I have all of them, I just an not into CEI, so I probably never listened to them a second time.
She has some great stuff for sure though.

I just went through my Isabella stuff really quick, and Queen of Persia series is the closest I found to what you described. Based on your description though, I'm not entirely sure its what you're looking for. She has others geared towards the CEI theme, but nothing I found that contains elements related to a desert theme.
