(he said in December)... but tomorrow is February 2015. And May not withstanding, it's been 8-9 months since it changed.

I'm not interested in looking for them deep in the bowels of the forums (and FWIW, there hasn't been a TOTM since October). The matter is more of: If they're going to bother to put it on the front page, it should either be kept up to date, or not be displayed at all.

At first glance, it makes it seem like the proprietors of the site don't care.

The TOTMs do carry on and will eventually catch up. The last poll ended on the 18th of January (for October). And I would have started the next one already, but atm there are some plans to do the polls in collaboration with several people to distribute the work a little more evenly. It is quite time consuming to gather the nominees and set up the polls.

And for that second matter: Couldn't agree more. The site looks kinda abandoned if it still displays the TOTM of May 2014 on the front page. The problem is that this issue can only be solved by one(?) person, and that person can't be reached at the moment. I can't even tag the teases atm. So I guess we have to be patient after all.

But we are working on both issues, contacting that person and doing the catching up of the polls.
