Collarme.com replacement

Those of us who had profiles on Collarme found it to be a great site for real time connections. unfortunately, conflicts between the founders ended up with the site (which was free) closing. I was looking for it this evening and found the backstory, but also found a site that seems to be doing a good job of building its replacement. so far, it's all free and includes a LOT of functionality including webcam. They are trying to get more folks so are running a referral contest, but you guys know I'm an admin here and have been around since the beginning with Seraphox. I'm pretty sure this is a no-bullshit deal, so for your enjoyment (and perhaps with this community I might win the referral contest

It seems so, which is my intention. It also allows for a "travelling to" posting. pretty interesting. If I see a problem, i'll post it, but for now, I'm impressed.

Interesting. When I read the blog below, I have some hesitancy to support collarme in its present form, but i'll take a look. It will be interesting to see if my profile is still there. Read the backstory:

Yeah, Collarme was down for about a day before they changed the url to Collarspace.com. Your password and profile are still the same.
While the focus isn't on relationship's, I find that Fetlife.com is the 'Mecca' of the bdsm community. Great discussion forums on every topic under the sun and your local bdsm community events are generally represented there.

I took a look at the replacement, and the activity seems to be WAY low compared to the good-ole-days. I wonder why? I created a guided masturbation group at the site I reference above. We'll see what happens with that. Perhaps we'll get some folks to join Milovana from there and in reverse.

So tonight I got my first e-mail from a dome, which I just replied to. Let's see if it is just spam. The functionality I've never seen before anyplace is a "let us know where you will be" travel thing with date limitations. I'm in Chicago tonight, so put that in the system yesterday, but nothing happened because of it. I'm most looking forward to playing on the communications area which has a cam to cam option, but it seems no one is there yet really. Eventually, I imagine they will attempt to monetize this is some way, but for now, full functionality seems free.
I'll keep you all posted if anything good 9or bad0 comes of it.

Well, this first one was provably a guy fishing, based upon the back and forth. About 5 back and forth on YM "she" wanted my real name. Ahhh, well. Hopefully this is not an indication of future play. And of course it's a common issue everywhere we play. Play with your brain turned on,,, always, even when in subspace.

I joined the site last weekend and have so far had 4 women???? Or perhaps not spam me to go to a pay site.. I didn't of course fall for this. However I have spoken to one in the instant message there and she is genuine as it was a conversation and not straight to "I am your Mistress" talk. Also joined the group over there for members here to say hello, but am still pending on that.

It kind of seemed like a scam to me, and I'm pretty sure they save your passwords as plain text too.
Also, since for personals you were required to register, I obviously did, logged in, went to search, and it can't seem to remember I'm logged in already.
For me, Fetlife remains the unchallenged #1 site.

Sorry for the slow add on the other group site, Servo. I just went over and did it. good to hear that you have had one legit conversation.

No problem, Zenlover. Have added a hello to the thread. In regards the conversation it was with someone I had talked to before on Fetlife, but it was a while ago.

Has anyone had any fun on the webcam section? Seems like a working interface, but I have not run into anyone there the few times I've logged into it. Looks like free two-way webcam. And, since I'm in Turkey this week, and can't get onto fetlife (or a lot of other porn sites) I'm hoping to play there.
Kenneth, I don't know what you mean here:

What makes you think that? I don't see it.
Still no drive for money. People distrusted seraphox when he started milovana too. I'm glad I trusted him.

Still exploring, still betatesting!

Poking around on collarspace and society31, I think the jury is out yet. Collarspace seems to be way less active than the old collarme, but allows for nice basic connection. Society 31 could be an awesome space as their interface for interaction has way more features. The trick will be if they get some activity in the communications center, which seems to allow for free cam to cam sessions. Just have not been able to get on at the same time as anyone else yet. Has anyone else had good experiences at either site yet?
