As a non american, I've only equivicated this theme with the early cock hero videos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y6HTohpjjo meaning when I heard it randomly on TV, I had a Pavlovian reaction to it

I know exactly what you mean, and I find it very odd that this theme was used, because its already the theme for something else.
Its the same thing for vindicare's opening song, though I like his much better

The firs time I heard the song "Uprising" was in Flux 1 (?) in a scene with Ariel Rebel. It was my first exposure to the lovely little lady and that scene managed to bring me down, so to speak. It was my go to scene for a while after that. It was the only place I heard that song until one evening at a hockey game with some friends. The song was used during a pause in the game and while it was only heard for a few seconds, those seconds were enough to elicit a familiar feeling. I began squirming around in my seat in an effort to adjust things around a bit. Pavlov's experiment immediately sprang to mind.

I was with a girl years ago that was a bit younger then me,
we were always together at my place and thus only ever had my music going when we got into it
the thing is ( mainly because of age ) we had very different tastes in music.
of my 10,000 + mp3s at the time the ONLY thing we both liked was 'red hot chilli peppers - califorication'
every time I hear any song from that album I crack a fat.
out fishing,... at the pub.... ANYWHERE, I have to find a way to cross my legs
