Hello.
I am new here but have been a bit of a cock hero addict so i thought i've have a go. Wanted to make a series using rock/ metal music as that's what im into. I've made this round as a kind of teaser and to gauge the communities response, If it goes over well, i'll make more. Obviously any advice, tips and tricks would be welcome.

Welcome to the club and great work! I really liked the fast cuts.
But if I could have one point of constructive criticism, I feel the beat meter obscures a little too much of the video. Maybe you opted for a slightly different layout to give it your own style, which I can totally understand.
But personally I prefer a beat meter that's positioned all the way at the bottom, with some instructional texts right above it, so we get to see as much of the original video as possible...

I can only applaud people for taking the time and effort to create Cock Hero movies.
Even more if they turn out to be this good.
So please make some more

Thanks a lot for the kind words. The beat meter was meant to be at the bottom but for some reason I couldnt position it there in sony vegas, not idea why.

It should be fairly easy to repostion the beatmeter. I can't remember all of the specifics, but I know it is super simple.

Hey thanks everyone, really glad you're liking it. Has anyone got any suggestions for songs? As its quite difficult to find something with a straight beat in the stupid tech metal i listen to :P

x802snow - Yes! it should be easy but when i click on event pan/crop it comes up with this screen and i am only able to move it in the middle of the screen unless i zoom in on it. Hard to explain, but if anyone knows where i'm going wrong, please do let me know.

The fast cuts worked pretty well in this, but don't over do it, otherwise it's getting very exhausting to watch.

For your positioning problem: Have you tried clicking on the field "Y Center" in "Position" and type in the position?

that was utterly superb, excellent to see another metal head on the forums ^_^

I'd love to see some heavier stuff on there though, some Lamb of god, maybe some Ensferium etc :) If you want any suggestions I'd be more than happy to oblige

As for the positioning, that's just a matter of lowering the Y value under position.

Cheers guys. I think i have possibly rendered the beat meter wrong in after effects. I'm only able to move it down 2/3's of the screen even when adjusting the Y axis.

Bibleisalie - good work! I've been working on a DevilDriver track which i think will work quite well. Not sure how people will feel about having a gruff old man screaming at them while they have their junk out though :P

Great potential is strong with this one.
As many might have already said the beat meter was some what too large imo.
Aside from that everything was great with this trailer, keep it up, we'll be waiting

Ok, i have sorted the beat meter out and added sound. Apart from a few adjustments i think i willl leave this round as it is and get working on the rest. Hope y'all like the updated version.
