Hey Guys (and Gals),

I just completed all 8 of the rounds of my first release "Cock Hero: Paradise". Currently, I'm going through and perfecting it so I don't let anyone down. So stay tuned cause I promise its gonna be real good!

On a side note, I was reading throughout this past week on making one and everyone seemed to have the same workflow. While I'm not saying mine is any better, I was left no choice but to change things up since I'm a firm Apple user. So the video I am about to release was made in iMovie, Garageband, and After Effects. Just thought I'd mention it since I couldn't find any tutorials with MacBooks. If anyone is interested don't hesitate to ask! I don't want anyone else to go through the pain and struggles of creating a CH.

Thanks in advance for your support! I'll see if I can make up a quick "trailer" of the first few rounds to build some anticipation.

Question for you actually. How are you doing beats? I'm running on Apple as well. I tried for the longest time to find a program comparable to Hammerhead to make beats but I couldnt find anything. Finally I had to get Crossover so I can run the windows version on my Mac. It works okay. I use Final Cut 7 to edit, Soundtrack Pro Hammerhead and Tangerine to make and edit beats, and then After Effects for the actual meter.

That workflow is okay but i'm looking for an easier way to do beats without crossover and hammerhead

Don't forget to have your video beta tested! Feedback is crucial, especially for a first release. Guaranteed you'll overlook something that a beta tester would find and point out.

Supermokkoriman beta tested my first CH :) And Andyp made the beats + beatmeter for it.

Hey Guys,

Its been forever... I know. You would not believe what happened to me. My (now old) MacBook got stolen and i actually recovered it, but all the videos, beats and after effects were deleted. I cannot tell you how sorry I am for getting your hopes up! I'll work on a new one, but it will be awhile...

Can't wait for the video freshhhxxx!

I've just finished a video using Final Cut Pro on mac using After Effects for the beat-meter with the brewster method. However for making the beats i used Ableton, and i would highly recommend this method provided you can get a grasp of it. Beats can be produced in loops and perfectly synced, which makes for really easy export for the After Effects stage. But more interestingly songs can be mixed, sped up/slowed down, edited, filtered, or new music can be created to make really interesting beats and videos. To my knowledge this is an untouched feature of CH videos so far.

I have questions of my own tho, is there any good threads or people to talk to about uploading said videos? This is a first effort, but i envisage more on the way.
