There's usually like 500 people on at any given time, its popular enough. I think if it was going to go mainstream it would have done so by no. Also, the masses can piss off, always queuing up at the best hot dog stands and breathing my air...

I have to admit that the latest spams are well disguised, but the suspicious links always reveal them.

This is the first forum I've been on in years, I'd totally forgot about spambots and the like! I did wonder why the link took me to some dodgy website. At first I thought it was just an adf.ly type deal, and "he" was trying to gather up some pennies.

They have been clever lately and have been farming other threads and posters history for paragraphs that make them look like they are actually members of the site.
So commenting about teases or various things that have happened on the forum. But like you say, the concealed links always give them away. I do wonder if there is a way to prevent new members from posting links. Would pretty much stop the spambots dead.
