I visited a very predominantly Catholic neighborhood this week and saw a LOT of Ash Wednesday forehead marks going around town... and I went to some great Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday parties...

... but what I really wanna know is if anyone out there is locked up for Lent???

Anyone out there not getting out until Easter? Pervy minds want to know!!!

40 days! no way...I can barely do 3 days

Well, I'm not locked-up (nor am I at all Catholic), but I've decided to challenge myself to 40 days of denial through Lent.

I've signed up to take part in Della's game for motivation. The longest I've ever gone before was 19 days, so we'll see how I do. I'm thinking it could get hard.

My current lockup has co-incided (more or less) with the start of Lent. I was wondering if I could last the 40 days. Maybe we'll see!
