Is there a way to set it so it won't be automatic on PM's but still automatic for forum posts? :-/

If you're trying to hide the sigs in your own inbox (this won't work globally, just on your own browser) you can do what I do and use a browser plugin like Stylebot for Chrome that allows you to add custom CSS to any sites you visit. I use it for image width fixes in the forums here, to hide ads, "suggestions" and unsightly elements on facebook and pandora, and sometimes use custom icons on some other sites.

If you place the following CSS into Stylebot's "Edit CSS" pane while on milovana it should hide all signatures in your Private Messages.

Code: Select all

.ucp-main .pm .signature {    display:none;}
If you want to hide your signature for others, globally, I don't think it can be done automatically but there is a checkbox to show/hide the signature on outgoing messages and posts while you're composing.

Why would you want to hide it for PMs yet still inflict it on the rest of us poor souls in the forum?

:-P

You have one of the most annoying signatures ever.
Just remove it everywhere.

If you have to use a signature use it for something constructive.
Not to attract attention, that's what your message shoould do.

Did you consider that maybe I have that set as my signature because I find it funny and therefore want others to share in the laughs? Maybe you don't personally find it funny, but theres no need to insult anyone, unless they literally ask for it.

FYI, "annoying" is a trigger word for me. So thanks for the fucked-up-childhood flashbacks mwc.. and just for you, I turned it off for this post.

I like the spoiler idea.
Everyone will be curious what's under there and maybe it's good for a laugh that way.

It is to obnoxious in my opinion to force it onto everyone everytime they read any forum topic where you've posted. I almost never read signatures but yours didn't give me that choice.
Unless I accept you as a Dom/me you don't have the right to force things on me.
Doing that triggers unfiltered opinions from me ;-)
