An idea for awesome forum based sexy RPG game

I have toyed with this idea for some time now, but I'm lacking free time (and TBH probably ideas and creativity too) to properly setup and run this game, so I'm giving out the idea in hopes that someone will like it and take it over.

So, basically this would be a text based erotic forum game, based loosely on RPGs and webteases. It would be run by the Game Master, who describes players' locations, NPCs that are encountered, and the results of players' actions. Players make the decisions and perform actions like choosing one of the paths to travel, searching, fighting or basically anything that comes to mind.

But unlike traditional RPGs, players wouldn't fight the monsters with sword or magic. There would be no character stats or classes, no exp points or levels, no magic artifacts improving stats etc. Of course, players could still select a fancy name, race and features for the characters, and act accordingly, it just wouldn't matter much throughout the game.

Instead, the NPCs would give tasks to do based on players likes and dislikes and their own likings. This is where the "erotic" part comes to play. I would expect tasks that are commonly used in webteases, like masturbating, edging, anal play, spanking, CBT, sissification etc.

The outcome of each NPC encounter would be based on how well the player performed and reported on the task they received. Generally, the player might get some prize for good performance or might be attacked for failing. Losing the fight would either get you killed (i.e. it's game over for you) or get you a punishment from the NPC. Sometimes, you might even get a permanent punishment, which you would have to endure for the duration of the game until you find a way to get out of it (e.g. some NPC put a Mute spell on you so you can't speak to other players & NPCs (in-game punishment) and you must be wearing ballgag every time you post in the game thread (real-life punishment), or someone could steal your clothes meaning you can only play when you strip naked first).

The goal of this game is where I ran out of ideas... :whistle: I guess there could be some artifact that must be found or obtained (or completed from several parts), some arch-enemy to destroy or maybe some secret to unveil.

Players should post their likes, dislikes and limits when joining (or put them in their signature), so that the GM knows what kind of tasks and punishments to give them. Players would be placed randomly on the map by the GM or in some special areas if they prefer (like The Halls of Humiliation, Analopolis or The Dens of Denial), which would be an indication of the kind of tasks/punishments they would (usually) get.

There could be several people playing the game in parallel (5 to 10, depending on the availability of the GM), each playing on their own. The team cooperation aspect is rather impossible in forum game due to people living in different timezones etc. but maybe sometimes the players could meet. What that would mean (a fight could ensue or trade or theft) is up to the GM and players.

Below is how I imagine the game could run:
Player1: I'm going north.

GM: You encounter the Ass Fucking Troll. He looks at you and says you would be a great piece of fuck meat.

Player1: I'm running away south.

GM: Nice try, but the Troll caught you. He's now fucking your ass [take your biggest toy and fuck your ass for 10 minutes].

Player1: I took my 10 inch dildo and fucked my ass for 10 minutes. It is really sore now.

GM: Satisfied, the Troll fell asleep.

Player1: I'm searching its pockets.

Etc., etc...
So, if anyone would like to setup and run the game, I think it could be really awesome and I would be more than happy to join. I have some more ideas about the possible tasks and locations, but would rather prefer to discuss them via PMs with the person that wants to run it in order not to spoil the game for the future players.

Sorry for such a long post... I hope there are some RPG fans here that would like to either run or play that kind of game. Feel free to post any comments and ideas! :wave:

I don't know how to do any of that stuff however so I will eagerly await what the techies write concerning this.

This idea has potential but what you provided here is just the start.
It would take a lot of work to implement this in a good way.

If you came with this idea 2-3 months earlier I'd gladly would've taken the role of DM. Now I'm just to busy.
I am also a lurker on milovana so I doubt a lot of users would trust me.

My idea would be to delegate the dungeon master tasks. your idea of different areas is really good.
Each area has a specific master or mistress with a certain fetish (s)he mainly focuses on.

Each of these areas should contain a critical part in finishing the campaign.
f.e. if you are not into anal you'll need to find a party member that is to complete that part of your quest.

A map could be created by the different area chiefs. the players don't get to see this one and have to remember the map for themselves. We could make it a grid to keep it fairly simple.
When you meet another player you could exchange maps and discover a bigger part of the world.

The final battle would ideally be arranged in a way that a party that has all the clues and all the area chiefs can be online at the same time.
A live chatroom (with cams?) could be set up where the different chiefs give their most demanding tasks to one or more of the party members. Each completed task chops off one of the final bosses heads untill the victorious party remains, celibrating, assholes stretched, dripping from excitement but free from chastity and unwanted torture by the dragon's minions.

The game would need:
- a DM who oversees the correctness of the game, the location of the players, moderates the game, settles disputes, ... the DM also creates the final area.
NPC''s who help or confuse the players are controlled and sent out into the dungeon by the DM as well.

- the area chiefs : some of milovana's dominant residents who for the duration of the game will challenge the players entering their domain. They work together with the DM in setting up traps, creatures and challenges in their area. they will also control a main character moving within their domain to hunt down the players.

- players: they get dropped throughout the dungeon. they can move one grid every day. the DM or the area chiefs will notify them of their surroundings, tasks/battles and options to continue. Based on their report some extra options may appear or get taken away. They will not have a full map available but can interact with other players to gradually discover the goal of the dungeon or even form a party to take on the rest of the adventure together.

I think the time to do this would be quite a bit. I can see if someone were to do it, that they could easily get burned out. What about a system where participants rotate the roll of GM?

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but you don't need any tech skills to run this game. A pen and a piece of paper would suffice. It's meant to be played in the thread, with people posting what they want to do etc., not like a webtease, so you don't need to code anything... But thanks for the support! :)

I'm aware of that and that's why I only presented the idea, not started the game on my own. What I described is mainly (a part of) the mechanics of the game.

Having several GMs/DMs for specific areas also sounds like a great idea and would mean less load for each GM. They could even have their own threads, which would maybe make the games easier to follow.

To be honest, the GM could cheat a little bit and invent the map as they go. To start you would only have to have a general idea where the most important things and NPCs are located, and put everything else (common locations, common NPCs) in place as people are visiting the areas.

This is where our ideas differ the most, as I don't think it would be practical to gather al the players at the same time, but maybe it's just me (I don't frequent chatrooms, but maybe if all players could be gathered on a chatroom the could play in (almost) real time). Anyway, since neither you nor me is going to actually run the game, it's up to the GM :)

Since the game would be played in a forum thread, everyone can track each other's progress and try to recreate the maps, so I don't see the point in exchanging the maps, but maybe I'm missing something.

yes, there is one thing you are missing.

I would not play this game on the milovana forum.
At least not in a single thread.

I think there should be seperate 'somethings' for each player/ party and one with a global overview for the DM and chiefs. The stories of the different players can be found in their 'something' and the DM's can plan and track progress in their overview 'something'.

For the single player that something could be a forum thread. RPG adventure: manwithcape's story. for example. the DM would add manwithcape's options here every day and this would be the only thread manwithcape needs to/ is allowed to view.
I would even prefer it if I could lock the thread from other players so that they can't cheat by knowing more as they should.

For the DM I would create a sort of gameboard with the dungeon-map and a indication of each players position, markings for important NPC's and items, location of the chief's character and if possible even a indication of what each part of the map contains.
The first way of doing this that pops in my head is a shared excel file. (edit: shared between DM and chiefs, not with players)
The cells represent the grid you can choose the borders to see which paths are possible.
Color coded cells give the general theme of the task/ adventure that awaits there.
More details about the tasks can be added as a note to the cells.
The location of the players can be typed into the relevant cells, idem for chiefs location.
Key items and other creatures can either be typed in the same way as the players or get their oown color code and a note to their cell. ( I like the second idea best)


Also, yay I didn't write complete gibberish.
I wasn't afraid my idea wouldn't be good but I am in a hurry and sometimes skip a thinking step when writing it down or repeat or contradict myself.
