Question about PES powerbox

Ok, so I've been reading, and looking and doing my research and saving up. Finally got out and bought a PES powerbox. Wow, pretty amazing, I must say.

Anyway, I do have 1 question I have been unable to satisfy myself with, and was hoping those more experienced and/or that own one can help me out.

The PES powerbox comes with 2 channels, which results in 4 connectors. From the product description they tell you the 2 channels are non-isolated.

What does this really mean? I think I know, but I'm not 100%, so wanted to confirm.

I have 2 attachments now, but if I get a third or fourth, can I use the same box?

Just trying to understand!
Thanks!

The reason P.E.S. tells you the system is non-isolated is for safety reasons - you can't connect two people to a single box. (It's under the P.E.S. Important Information tab on the P.E.S. website.) However, I can't give you a scientific answer on why.

Also, the A and B channels share a common ground so when a complete circuit is created on Channel A the incomplete circuit on Channel B can be used. The Configurations Tab on the P.E.S. site explains it.

I do have a P.E.S. system. You can operate up to 4 electrodes on the box - two on each channel. It is also possible to operate three electrodes on the system. You don't need another box. Just don't connect two people to a single box.

Cool, thank you very much.

Yeah, I've been doing reading, and "thought" that's what worked, but of course, to be safe, I'd rather not guess ;) It's generally wiser to ask when you're not sure of these things. :-D

Thank-you kindly!

Hey, 1 follow up ..

I was curious. I hooked up the leads, black to corona attachment, red to base ring.
I've realized that without thinking about it, that I've been consistent. So out of curiousity I reversed it.
Red to Corona, black to base ring.
:\'-(
Holy crap! So different. What gives? I realize currents have a "direction" so to speak, however, I was very surprised by the VERY different feel of it ?

Anyone have any insight to this? or is this just one of the joys of this toy :-D
