I was told to wait...
to have patience for the one person who has the ability to fix chat.
how long do I, or you have to wait??
thursday sept 19th was the last day chat, sort of worked
before issues sprung up
and our helper..quit helping
now there is only
one Question

How long do you want to wait??

No one wants to wait at all. But we do, with patience, because it's the polite solution to the problem. Chat will be up when chat will be up, and we'll all be very thankful for those who do and have put in the work to make it so.

I agree with laura. Having chat is a great but this is a free site with people giving up their time and we cant just childishly demand that chat be fixed now. I know it isnt ideal with people having subs and Doms they want to play with but there are hundreds of other chatrooms and ways of communicating that we can use until chat is back up.

Now I dont know what is going on, but I want to thank everyone who is/has worked on chat in the past few years as I have been coming here for 5 years now and although chat isnt perfect and has its problems I am grateful for every second it has been working.

I do thank the person who put it up,
who is no longer working on the problem, and has quit
I appreciate all the thankless hours spent behind the scenes
fixing bugs.. rebooting

However,
the person that is in charge of chat now
is NOT the person who gave us a new chat system when the old one crashed

I am not making demand Only because I am a selfish egotistical impatient person
and I am all that, I admit...

but because I want the person Who's hands we are in to know
that we DO like this feature...
so it is not gone.. forever...
that there are those who care and miss it..

my fear says chat will not be up.. for weeks, quite possibly longer...

In all seriousness though, how long is a ball of string. Like Laura said it will be fixed when it's fixed. My suggestion would be to set up a temporary chat like we had for a while when flash chat finally gave up the ghost. I think it was DreamOn that set it up, so it may be worth asking her which site she used if you are having trouble finding a stable solution.

actually this is exactly what I was asking,
at least until.. chat gets fixed

It is what it is now...and will be what it will be when it gets that way lol And lol, email, text, as well as other social sites are viable alternatives in the meantime. My kik is willtry285 and I'm a switch who loves to chat lol....so for all females starved for chat...feel free to hit me up! :)

just know this is not a dating site...

Chat server is back online. It was shot pretty bad - disk full, database corrupted, settings reset... I don't know if we were using any plugins etc. - if so, they probably need to be set up again from scratch.
